Vendor should be able to offer a variety of coverage options based on the needs of the specific merchant. Offering a level of flexibility ensures that their plan will offer them the coverage they need based on risk factors specific to their operation and the market they are competing within.
Communication
The way vendors communicate with their customers, their ability to effectively communicate, and how they resolve customer issues is also taken into consideration. Vendors should be able to accurately identify a customer's issue and take steps to resolve it while communicating the selected action.
Reimbursement
When an incident occurs that falls under the insurance policy, it's important for the insurance company to be able to properly reimburse the client and ensure that all of the proper documentation is being followed. Extra precautions should be taken to ensure that the reimbursement is done legally.
Documentation
Vendors should offer proper documentation for the services they provide to ensure the customer will understand, in plain English, their coverage and how they can make a claim. The documentation should be truthful, accurate, and timely as the coverage or offering changes.
Timeliness
Insurance companies that drag out communications or fail to respond in a timely manner can negatively affect their clients. We recommend insurance companies that treasure their customer base and response to them in a timely manner with a complete and accurate response.
