I gave birth to my second son here and had a successful vbac! We started our care with Foothills Midwifery early on in our pregnancy and received consistently great care. We couldn't be happier or more satisfied with the way we were treated. Paige helped us be proactive and confident on the day our baby was born and I do not think the outcome would have been anywhere near as good anywhere else . The family birth center is filled with intelligent and compassionate health care providers. They do a wonderful job integrating the hospital setting with natural and holistic approaches if that's what you desire. We felt safe and cared for every step of the way.

They charged my daughter $4000 for a strep throat test. Don't use this emergency room if you don't have to. If you do, ask for a written estimate. They have a low rating for a reason.

After two surgeries within 10 days, my experience was the same both times. The facility was exceptionally clean, the pacu prep attendants were exceptional, the doctors & anesthesiologists were exceptional, BUT, the prep nurses on both occasions were arrogant, pompous, and lacked compassion & empathy. I was traumatized by the nurses on both visits as they wouldn't listen or care about my needs or requests. In fact, the second visit, the nurse threatened me if I didn't comply with her unrealistic requests. After surgery, the post op staff, the room nurses, & floor staff were all amazing and the rooms were clean, quiet and private. All in all a good experience. Just beware of the OR prep nurses and their bullying attitude.

Billing needs to constantly be asked to send charges through insurance. Just had a charge go to collections (I moved and never saw a bill) because their billing department never called me, or sought to contact me in any way besides sending 2 bills to my old address. Unreal.

More of a headache dealing with aloof/dismissive Doctors, and terrible billing department than getting any actual help. Their call system is terrible as well, especially for the Boulder Medical Center (I follow the prompts to their internal medicine office yet when it lists their Doctors, mines not even mentioned (Dr. Rho)! No way to leave her messages). I have been thrown around so much when calling to set up access to their patient portal that I finally gave up. They have been unsympathetic, and their billing practices border predatory. They incorrectly billed the wrong insurance more than 5 times (not an exaggeration)(apparently the first 4 calls I made to correct it didn't work). Their bills are sporadic, confusing, and often lead me to believe they are charging duplicates or for visits/test not actually done. I regret going there in the first place. ***Caveat! Their gynecology department was GREAT! Each doctor I saw was wonderful to me***

Care and knowledge of all staff in all departments are beyond the level expected. It made a very scary situation tolerable having everything explained to our level of understanding.
