This place is great. Everyone we dealt with was so nice. I don't understand the negative reviews. Does it take some time? Yes, it's a process, with the different agencies needing to come out. Is there paperwork involved? Yes, but nothing difficult. In the end, we were fortunate enough to receive a new air conditioning system, and we're very grateful.

Since I have been added to Transportation Ministry and on the insurance, at my church ( The Way World Outreach), I now have the assignment of taking our boxtruck every 4th Mon to pick up commodities that we distribute every 4th Tues of the month to hungry people. It's awesome! We also get food that goes to our Downtown Mission and The Kitchen Ministry makes lunches to feed hungry people on Mon, Tues and Wed, also breakfast before 9am Service on Sundays!! It's such a blessing to have Community Action Partnership, plus the company is in our Faith Based Network. Great job they're doing over there!

It's hard enough bring ourselves to ask for help, we always take care of our responsibilities on our own. Social security put us in a hardship when making a mistake in our case and pay! We call around desperate for help for the first time EVER & we are sent to this company. The treatment we have had so far has been so hateful. Victoria Solis 1st female we spoke to was so rude & condescending, ask us the same questions over & over as if we were lying. When asking for her name she hung up on us. We call back to ask for her name to report her, we are answered by a girl named Maggie who refused to give us her last name and was also very rude to us for absolutely no reason. We were switched to the supervisor Michelle McClain and there was no answer. This is disgusting behavior from people who are supposed to help while you're hurting not cause more stress!

I just love Community Action partners they go above and beyond their Call of Duty per se! They pay my whole light bill which they did not have to and for that I'm so very thankful for their help! Not only do they help pay your utility bills but they also do weatherization on your home and they also help page towards your rent or your mortgage. So whenever you're in need of help they're there for you! I highly recommend them they are so fast and efficient not like the old days. They are also very caring and and understanding towards your needs!

This has to be the worse place to go if your in need for assistance. They are judge mental And make you wait. I waited for them to Reject me due to not having “Print outs”Which I could’ve had if it was stayed on paperwork or I could’ve Simply printed them out as I was waiting for 4 plus hours but just cause I had everything on email and by the time they seen me they were closing. I didn’t get assist. Super rude management. “Do Not recommend”

Community Action Partner has helped me tremendously I live on a low budget income I have used them twice at once back in 2010 and the month of August of this year, if it wasn't for them I would be either homeless or in the dark with no light I have prayer and now I thank God that there is no cutbacks in this program. Thank you to the workers for all their help.

What A blessing from God for sure. I was with out gas for two months and thanks to Community Action and there services my gas is back on. Just in time for the winter. Thank you again for all your help. Oh yea and thank you Ms. Figueroa for doing all you can to make sure that my gas was back on that same day. I pray that God bless you for helping those in there time of need.
