The place smells like a tropical island, very soothing....calm. The incredibly helpful stuff took their time going through all of the products I was interested in. I felt particularly comfortable at this little oasis as the majority of, if not all, the staff are female. and yes my review is in specific response to some of the one stars below. Maybe someone there read the reviews? They had candles but maybe not as much as they did before, just the right amount. I also can’t knock a place that takes checking IDs serious. It took a long time for California to become legal for 21+ rec use, let’s all be extra responsible. When in doubt it’s not worth it to risk it. Lastly, my partner has been looking for a true Durban Poison for a very long time. He is very happy! Prices are higher than most, one joint of DP is $18 BUT it was really good. Check it out for yourself and make up your own mind.

if you are coming from out of state DO NOT GO TO THIS DISPENSARY!! They do not know what IDs outside of California look like, and reject valid driver's licenses if they think you don't look old enough (which negates exactly what ids are for). I urge you all to take your business to medmen or LA Wonderland, or any other dispensary in socal.

I love coming here. They change inventory sometimes to keep on the cutting edge and I trust them to curate a really good product line. The atmosphere is chilled. I renewed my medical card with their recommended physician, you see I have terrible arthritis. The items i’ve found at 99 High Tide have really helped increase the overall quality of my life. Thanks!

I'm only giving this spot 3 stars due to the redic ammount of scented candles. The store is very cute. It's beautiful. The mermaids, as they call their bartenders are dreamy passionate as youd expect a mermaid to be. The process is also nice due to Malibu having their own cannabis tax. Youd think 5 stars easy.. But that smell!!! I am sensitive to smell it gave me a bad migraine. My boyfriend is not and even he was annoyed becuase were trying to smell the strains and its hard to do so over the smell of the candles. The candles are so bad I had to take away two stars. I'd still suggest it to anyone to check out just be warned!

Amazing! The mermaids cove where you check out the medicine is beautifully decorated and home to some of the most wonderful mermaids... I mean staff haha (but really mermaids!). When you walk in you're greeted w a smile and a kind hello. I really felt the love and positivity that the business is built on. Highly recommend going here vs anywhere else! Heads up ~ this is medicinal and you can get your card here (and save on the 40% fee that recreational weed comes w) or go to their sister store in Venice, Green Goddess.

Don’t expect cheap prices, but this was by far the most artistic, high-class dispensary I’ve ever been to. The art and ambience is beautiful. It’s literally worth it to just walk in and see. The security guard is extremely personable, professional, and informative, and the bud tenders are super friendly and cute. I have been to close to a dozen different dispensaries, and this is definitely my favorite one.

Everybody has that go to place in their neighborhood that is worth reviewing or near their neighborhood that is worth reviewing and giving a high star count to. Then there are the go to destinations those places that are a little farther away but are exceptionally exceptional and this place is a GTD (go to destination) and if the gods are smiling upon you Denlin will help you.

There is a god! Or a goddess in this case. 99 is one of most beautiful people I have ever met, inside and out. Her collective the 99 High Art in Venice Beach was legendary and magical. I can not wait for the 99 High Tide to open in Malibu!!! They were the best and will undoubtedly hold that title once more. Their products were always the best top shelf and now that CBD is such a big part of my life, they will be carrying the best CBD products too!So grateful!
