Homewatch Caregivers is such a professional , warm welcoming company. I am currently working as a caregiver here and I absolutely love how they have a great deal of empathy for the caregivers and clients. The ladies in the office are amazing and respectful, they hired me on the spot and immediately provided me with work. They consistently check on me and my client daily just to make sure we are comfortable and satisfied. I couldn't ask for a better employer to work for. I GIVE HOMEWATCH 5+ STARS. GO HOMEWATCH!!!! WOOOHOOO!

I wish I can give them a good review but the problem started from very beginning. They call me for interview, I went and later schedule for orientation which is all day with a promise from the staff that everyone WILL get a case after orientation or during orientation. Arrive there after fighting the traffic for nearly 1 1/2 hour, stay there whole day and after orientation was told there is absolute no cases, everyone is just line up to take picture. To make a long story short, recently I got a call because EDD rep claimed they have part time cases. Little did I know, I spoke to Kit and explain to her what happen after the orientation, instead of helping me, she wanted to argue with me to the point of accusing me something I never did, which is extremely unprofessional. I never get pay for the whole day worth of orientation instead get falsely accuse from the girl call Kit. If I were you, find out exactly where they service, I would not recommend them to anyone. I actually ask kit to remove me from the register. Do not want to work for someone just like to argue/accuse/condemn and pick fight. I'll bit she may call back and pick another fight with me about this bad review.

If I could provide more than 5 stars for the team at Homewatch Caregivers of West LA and South Bay, I would! Dick Williams and his team have cared for our 92-year young mother since earlier this year. Their attentive care has allowed mom to continue living in her treasured and familiar home with dignity. After several falls and medication mishaps, we knew that Mom was not in a position to safely remain in her home without help. We were referred to Dick and he spent quite a bit of time meeting with our family and working out a care plan that was customized to Mom's needs. We now have 4 caregivers sharing a 24/7 schedule and it is working out well. The caregivers have clearly chosen this service ministry and profession. Several have left very accomplished and responsible positions in business to choose this role after experiencing their own family medical crises where quality caregiving was critical. This has given them an empathy that shines through in how they interact with our mother. It is clear that her care is not just a "job" for them, but a calling. Mom's caregivers provide loving companionship, medication reminders, and transportation to doctor appointments, church, and shopping. They proactively provide nutritious meals and snacks and encourage her to get enough hydration. Mom never wanted anyone to do her laundry and yet somehow the caregivers have made her feel comfortable enough to allow them to take over this task as well. The caregivers and their supervisors have worked with our family to find an effective communication plan so that all siblings are kept in the loop about mom's daily routine. I strongly recommend Dick Williams and the Homewatch CareGivers of West LA and South Bay team if you are seeking quality care and companionship for a loved one.

Feedback:

Homewatch has cared for our elderly mother for several years. We started with just a few hours a couple times a week and have increased the care to five days a week, twice a day. Through this journey, Homewatch has been extremely helpful. They have placed lovely ladies to take care of mom. It is not easy to find people willing to do split shifts but they have graciously accommodated us. The people are very sweet to mom and make her feel valuable. They communicate with us regularly and we feel much better knowing that we can trust the people in the home caring for our mother.Dick and his office staff have been a pleasure to work with. They have listened to our needs and have coordinated caregivers that match the situation perfectly. Would strongly recommend this using this company if you need care for a loved one.

Feedback:

This company really made a difference in my aged parent's quality of life. The director demonstrated enormous tact, understanding and patience. The caregiver who helped us was A GREAT MATCH, kind, willing to tackle any task, and provided excellent companionship to a failing senior citizen who can be stubborn. All of us came to rely on Homewatch as a valuable element in mom's routine, helping with a list of activities, chores, errands, conversation and also some fun. It is not easy getting seniors to agree they need help nor finding the "right fit" but we were thrilled with our experience and would highly recommend Homewatch of West Los Angeles. They are TRULY TOP-NOTCH

Feedback:

I know Homewatch's services very well — and I recommend them highly — for I have used them regularly since 2012, after suffering the effects of a rear-end auto collision that exacerbated pre-existing medical problems. At first, I needed their help every day, since I could barely move around (and no longer drive). Today, following limited recovery, I still rely on them twice a week for a few hours each time. And what do they do that is so helpful? They attend to basic household chores, like washing and storing dishes, taking out trash, helping with cat care. They go shopping (in their own car) for food and other home needs. They prepare my next food and drink. They do upkeep on breathing equipment I use. Indeed, they take care of whatever comes up that needs attention around the house. On occasion, I also turn to them to take me (and my breathing equipment) to doctor or dentist appointments. Since 2013 I have been fortunate that an especially able and attentive Homewatch caregiver has regularly helped me. But even before then, during a difficult six months recovering from the accident, when a variety of caregivers were assigned to help me, I was constantly impressed by and very thankful for their good-hearted professional assistance.
