Are you a salad lover? If, yes then this is the place for you! They have a great variety of salads to choose from. Some of my faves are the Tuna Nicoise & Steak. You won’t be disappointed!!Please take some time to like this. If you found this review to be helpful. Great service and friendly staff.

I'm staying in Pasadena and I really wanted something healthy, but I also I'm over how expensive room service is and didn't feel like a sit-down restaurant. So I ordered an advance I walked down there, I'm a little disappointed that I got there 5 minutes before I was supposed to pick up and it was already waiting. Because by the time I got home it had clearly been sitting for longer than the 5 minute walk home. Which is the only reason why it didn't get five stars, things had started to get cold. And I don't have a microwave in my room.I got the mashed potatoes which were lovely and delicious and I just wish that they were warmer. The steak mid rare was cooked better than I've had it cooked midwear at some fine dining establishments which is awesome because I only paid $14 for this mid rare. And the seasonal vegetables which I'm really happy I got I got brussel sprouts and carrots and sweet potatoes and it was a really nice mix again a little cold. I also wish that the Brussels sprouts had been cut they were whole and that's a lot to deal with with a plastic knife.

I visit this unique restaurant every couple of days because I enjoy the special air that is part of this restaurant. The staff is very friendly and experienced. The service is exceptionally quick. Not to mention, the food you eat is great. I frequent many times and I was never disappointed. The expense is decent. I highly recommend this restaurant to to everybody.

We've been here about 5 times, so this review is a bit overdue.Absolutely Amazing! Salt & Pepper Chicken plate in incredible. They have the most amazing mashed potatoes. Very big fan of the seared tuna. I have to say the staff is adorable. They no longer accept cash so I had to use my CC.

One of my favorite chain restaurants here in Los Angeles, and this is one of my favorite locations due to the art on the walls. The food is always delicious, and there's something for everyone even when I bring a large diverse group of family and friends. The Salmon is always tender, never dry, and the seasonal veggies are always a delight. Lots of great drink and dessert options as well.

Good food but horrible parking, and when I was there the AC was also broken. Even though they do validate at the parking structure behind the restaurant (enter of off El Molino) it's the worst. Parking during the day is fine because there is an attendant but after hours the automated machine is horrible. It requires numerous CC swipes for the transaction to go through. Note that if your CC doesn't go through the parking customer service rep (which is out of state) will ask for your address to mail you a parking bill of approx $8. It completely ruins whatever lovely dinning experience just happened. The best place to park is at the public lot behind Urth Cafe, so just eat there instead. The food is just as good if not better and free of parking snafus. You can even pay using the Pasadena city app Passport.

Update: I am downgrading my review down to 3 stars. TG needs to work on their consistently. They have too much food waiting under the heat warmers. Bread soo stale a bird would choke. Every plate I get is like Russian roulette. Like what stale or room temperature item will I get today. Will I get dry or moist chicken, will mash be the only warm item, will my bread be stale.... I don't mind waiting a bit longer for my food if it means I get a consistent plate.

I think this place has better quality food than many of the sit down restaurants in town and it's a great value for the quality offered. They are not dependable with the amount of salt they use but I still love the restaurant. I like their chicken, salmon and a lovely grain salad that is a fine vegan entree. Great place to go before going to the Pasadena Playhouse.

Tender Greens is a super simple concept: protein, veggie, side. I am an increasingly-complex person and thus, drawn to increasingly-complex meals. Conceptually, I would not be *into* Tender Greens. However, after finally trying it, I find myself coming back again and again, craving it whenever I finish my workout class and walk by the tinted-glass windows blurring a simpler world from an ever-complex one.The Chipotle barbecue chicken is sweet with a slight smokiness encompassing four significant slices of chicken. Whatever greens and sides you choose are apt for even the most voracious eater.

I love Tender Greens. I'm practically a regular here. I've gotten into the habit of stopping by on my way home from the gym and getting a steak plate with mashed potatoes to go. So, so good. It's cashless, which is great because I typically only have my phone on me and just use Apple Pay instead. PS. if you've got room for dessert, I fully recommend the Olive Oil Citrus Cake :heart-eyes:
