Feedback:

I had a wonderful time at AJ's on the Green and Splash Lounge. I'm a freelance professional jazz pianist, and one of my music colleagues is a guitarist named Doug McDonald, and he performs there several nights a week with his trio. I have worked with him on and off for about 12 years, and when the opportunity came up to sit in with him at the lounge, I took advantage of it! I was out in Palm Springs with my husband in mid-December, at our timeshare, so we went to the lounge for dinner (which was good) and drinks one night and I sat in with Doug and played a bunch of numbers on their nice baby grand piano. In the two sets during which I sat in, I accompanied some of the guest singers, and also played on a few instrumentals. It was a lot of fun, and everyone there was so welcoming and friendly, and especially, so complimentary of my piano playing! It was a wonderful atmosphere, and it made the evening really special. My husband got the same vibe, too, and that can't be said of every place that we have gone. So he and I will think of this place as being exceptional.
