Interesting store, geared toward the occasional smoker, more for the light smoker who wants a joint or some low dose edibles. The Alaskan Marijuana Control Board needs a change in policy or leadership... more

Feedback:

Called to ask if they would stay open an extra five minutes. The man asked his boss and said 10:05, latest he could do. My husband drove from Eagle River, got there right at 10 and of course they did not stay open the extra five minutes as promised. We would not have wasted the gas but were told we would be good. We spend A LOT of money on this type of product and these guys just lost our business before we ever even spent a dime there. Now we know what kind of people run this place!

Prducts are fine. Staff is fine. 2 stars because who sells a barley .5 gram preroll for $17?? Alaska buds and fuzzy budz sell .8 gram prerolls for 12-15. I will never go back here again. Way too expensive.Edit: Alaska Buds has raised their prices as well. Fuzzy Budz is the way to got. Highest THC in town for the best price.

I I liked the shop and I like the professional staff. It feels like a shop you would see in Seattle. The product was mediocre, which surprised me because I have heard so much about how awesome Alaskan pot is supposed to be. I realize once the growers get going the pot will get better. We were considering trying to talk to one of the farms about better and more interesting strains. Everything seems Indica heavy. This is my current favorite. It is not Alaskan

Interesting store, geared toward the occasional smoker, more for the light smoker who wants a joint or some low dose edibles. The Alaskan Marijuana Control Board needs a change in policy or leadership before cannabis shops will adequately serve the need they were meant to fulfil to the medicinal users whom need larger amounts. To dose 1000mg a day would cost well over $1000 dollars for infused coconut oil capsules. You cannot dose that much with their edibles, as their cookies are limited to 5-10mg, meaning you would have to eat 100-200 cookies a day to achieve a 1000mg medicinal dose.

Totally agree with Harold, way over-priced for dry, leafy bud that is half stems. Harvested in September, it was so dry and harsh, only 15% THC-A and like I said half of the bag was stems. I would never go back either but I just moved here, don't know anybody and have no choice. When Oregon first opened their doors they had a variety of really dank bud (up to 30% THC-A) for a little bit more than black-market prices. These guys are charging $140 for a 1/4 Oz of dried out, 15% leaf & stems. I do not blame Alaska Fireweed, it is the harvesters. I really hope those 140 harvest license applicants hurry up and get it done, please and thank you.
