Tired of this place. Selection a little monotonous. VIP discount is down from original 20 percent, which went down to 15, and for now is at 10. Unless, of course, there's a special where anyone who walks in gets 10 percent, then you get a 15 percent discount. Not your VIP 10 percent + the 10 percent everyone else gets, but 15 percent total. I was so thrown off by that, I didn't notice that they only applied the "VIP" rate. So, 10 + 10 = ...10? There are many other places with much better reward programs and incentives.

So overpriced and they seemed super pushy for there being no line outside and three people in the storefront. This place used to have good deals.Edit for your reply: just checked your full menu 75 dollars for an eighth is VERY STEEP let's get real.

Good quality from the same cultivators a lot of other dispensaries in town carry for 18 they bumped up to 20 now 22 a gram. And 80 plus an eigth. They call it "signature" and charge way more than everybody else for the same weed. They never have any deals unless you buy trim. Same thing you can get for 12 a gram somewhere else will be 16 at Alaska buds. It's really just snobbish prices and carrying absolutely nothing unique to justify them.

Super friendly staff. I always feel welcome. The staff is on the younger side however they work hard, help out as best they can, and make you feel valued regardless if you’re spending $5 or $500, everyone is taken care of. Their selection is top notch, I highly (pun intended) recommend this shop. PS: they have a huge selection of just about everything bud related.

2017: We Enjoy AlaskaBuds. Enjoyable Staff, Great Environmernt and a Great Selection. Update 2018: Always expanding their selection. Great experience even a year later, they have a great store in a tough part of town. They are responsible business owners bringing jobs and development to this area. Also they have a beautiful store. This place is great! The workers are super friendly and respectful and get things done quickly without having me feel rushed. I had some questions about their CBD oils and I had Shaun give me the run down of what they had and he took the time to explain to me how they work and could possibly help my situation. I bought some oil to try out and I couldn't be happier with the results.

I use to make this business my primary source to buy flowers because of their variety and the courteous staff, but I will no longer support or buy from this business because I believe them to be deceitful and bias in dealing with people of color.The only reason that I am rating them with only one star is because that's the least to choose from.There are other businesses that have good quality products and treat their customers with greater kindness. The flowers are also much cheaper!
