The founder of the Anchorage Dispensary, Alaskan Leaf, first served as a caregiver in the Alaska cannabis field for his family and friends.

Witnessing first-hand how medical cannabis could positively aid cancer patients and people with other medical conditions, he wanted to introduce medicinal marijuana to people with other medical conditions. He ultimately decided to establish Alaskan Leaf as a vertically integrated cultivation and locally owned recreational marijuana dispensary organization with a focus on top-quality in-house cannabis; such as moose and lobsta, edibles, concentrates, and topicals.

After years of working to build the retail store, he opened one of the first recreational marijuana Anchorage dispensaries.
