Jorge and Gabriele were great. I asked for cost estimates and received them. I chose what I would like done without any pressure or goading. I received a great loaner. The estimated time for the services to be completed was always communicated clearly. Very hassle free. I really do love everything Subaru stands for and have loved owning one. This shop did a good job echoing what the brand stands for. Subaru’s are the best.
Feedback:
Love this dealership. I have 2 Subaru’s from them and will be going back for the 3rd when my wife’s current lease is up. No haggle no BS. They will give you the best deal possible! I went in thinking I was going to get a lower end Crosstrek but walked out 2 hours later with a Forester Sport. Go see Emma she is the best. I don’t see myself ever going anywhere else
Feedback:
I bought two Subarus here at Sherman Oaks Subaru. The sales went great. The process of the paperwork went smooth and I was happy with the finance manager. I just said no to the add-ons. I give the sale department 4 stars. I'll give the parts department 5 stars. Randy is great with his customers. As for the service department I give NO stars what so ever! First, I discovered an oil leak from a bad hose on my new 2017 WRX with less than 1,500 miles. I took it in for service and had to wait two days for it to be fixed but it wasn't fixed. They said it'll be another five days before it would be fixed. I was able to drive my new car after 9 days. This is not the reason why I am rating the service department 0 stars. I am rating the department 0 stars because of the way they treated my car. First of all, when they washed my car they didn't use soap and just wiped it down with a dirty chamois. Now, there are deep swirl marks. Secondly, there were drops of soda in the interior my car. I have a dash cam connected to my car. I found out that how they respected my car. They didn't respect it at all. The porter hit a heavy piece of equipment when he was pulling out of the service bay. What really got me angry was that a porter took my car for a joy ride and used it for a taxi service to drop off his buddy. I think twice before going to have my car serviced there and if I did it wouldn't leave my sight and I would skip the car wash.

Amazing group of people. I really can’t recommend these guys enough. My sales rep Steve, worked with me through email for days prior. Coming up from San Diego we didn’t want to make a trip for nothing so having the car in the right price range needed to happen beforehand. Other dealerships sent the cookie-cutter template emails asking me to come in and look at it before I got a price. Steve got me a price that beat the other dealers and personally responded to all of my emails. Steve even came in on his day off to meet us and not once did he pressure me to take it home that day. He hung out with us and talked while everything was finalized and although it was late, didn’t leave until we were all done with keys in hand. These days it’s the little things that set dealers apart. Having a good sales rep and feeling comfortable in the environment makes all the difference. Every car I have owned has been a Subaru and may or may not have been wrecked by a dealerships shady tactics. At the end of the day a dealerships goal is to make money but I can honestly say that they will work with you and 100% will not try to rip you off or hide any fees or car issues from you. Overall a great experience. well worth the 3 hours in traffic to save $ but more importantly have a good time doing it....and give Steve a raise!

100% do not recommend this place for your car to be serviced they are out to make money no matter what! My car was serviced two months ago in Santa Monica my brakes were fine everything was fine they even gave me a brand new windshield wipers with no charge ..in Sherman Oaks they told me I need Windshield wipers and wants to charge me and says my brakes are bad which they are not ....Santa Monica Subaru and Southbay much more respectable and honest
Feedback:
GREAT car buying experience. I worked with Jaime and Tamaz (both very nice people) to find the exact car I wanted, negotiated everything beforehand (price out the door & got financing approved). They were even able to hold the car for a few days until I could get a ride from a friend down from the central coast. When I got there, the car was clean and ready. A quick test drive later I was ready to commit - BUT found a tiny scratch on the bumper. They took the scratch VERY seriously. It couldn't be buffed out, so they decided to pull another exact-same car from storage, cleaned it, I test drove it, pristine condition. It was perfect. Paperwork was quick since I had negotiated everything already. Drove away in under 3 hours! Highly recommend these guys!

Nice little dealership. Have to make an appointment for service.I miss Nissan because a larger dealership you don't really need to make an appointment for service. There service work and customer service is good here. If it takes longer then expected they give you a free rental sometimes. As any dealership is concerned prices can be high for parts or accessories.

Routine service went great on Saturday, they took care of everything and were upfront with prices. I got a major part replaced on Monday and that's when it went wrong. They tried to sell me the same services that they did on Saturday (while holding my paperwork in their hand...) and I had to remind them I was there mere days ago and already did all that. At first they informed me the repairs would take all day and possibly roll over into the next day, which was totally fine with me. I missed their call and when I called back I was told someone would call me in 5 minutes. I never got that call. I did get a text that my car would be ready the next day at lunch time. ... I didn't get any info about my car until I had to call them way past lunch time, where they didn't have my phone number or info on file until searching for it for about 5 minutes. Finally I got calls and texts (full of typos) that my car was ready... but it wasn't. I waited in the dealership for someone to help me and I finally had to interrupt two girls chatting amongst themselves to get service. My paperwork wasn't even printed or ready so I waited longer. Finally I got my car and left, and I don't think I'll be back. Subaru of Glendale is much, much better.
Feedback:
Sadly, good service at this dealership did not last long. I had taken my Subaru here for over 3 years and saw the decline in the value they gave to their customers. You become a number on a service ticket, rather than an individual caring for your car. Some of my favorite service advisers left and went to other dealership locations. I too, have found another dealership that really impressed me with the care provided, so I will no longer be going to Sherman Oaks.
Feedback:
Classic bait and switch. I agreed on a car and price with Aaron, one of the salesmen. After putting my infant son in daycare, my husband got off work early, we arrived to the dealership and started filling out paperwork. Aaron then told me the price would be $100 higher. I said that was fine. But when I looked at the numbers, it was $1800 higher. Aaron then said that he was actually selling me an upgraded car. I told him I wanted the car we discussed at the price we agreed on. Aaron admitted they didn’t even have that car on the lot. My husband and i walked out and bought our car at Subaru Glendale. Aaron and his manager, Logan, didn’t even apologize for wasting our time or money. Save yourself the hassle and just go to Subaru Glendale. They worked with us and got us a great price. There is a reason Glendale is the number one Subaru dealership in California.
