The google info page is outdated. The Huntington Beach location on Warner is no longer the Great Dane Baking Company. The sign frontage has been removed and the business that now occupies the space is named “Butter + Cream Bakery.” I bought two dozen cupcakes as a gift for first responders. The items were placed in generic plastic containers and placed in a plain paper bag. The presentation looked exactly like a grocery store purchase, which wholly defeats the purpose of attempting to convey thought and gratitude in a gift. Further the cupcakes tasted and looked inferior to products from Sprinkles or Frosted cupcakeries. I felt my $85.00 purchase was unappreciated by the staff and I recommend anyone wishing to purchase cupcakes go elsewhere.

First off, the cake was amazing and perfect, the reason for the 4 stars is because the actual bakers weren’t in to help the sales person decorate my cake. I went to the bakery an hour and a half before closing so maybe that’s why they weren’t in. I first got a red velvet cake and just plain white on the outside hoping to have it decorated with either simple syrups, flowers or even candles but nothing was available. I changed my mind and got a different cake, this was a blue velvet, with blue berry and lemon, and the outside was colorful and had flowered made out of frosting.The cake itself was baked perfect, nice an moist, light flavor of lemon and blueberries, the frosting sweet but when isn’t?Will definitely buy another cake in the future, sorry for the 4 stars

Great Dane has always had flavorful pastries with great designs. I enjoy seeing the wide array of options. Their cakes are great in taste and prices are reasonable plus you can walk in and walk out with pre-made pastry options. I do believe they are do for a renovation and a little more street advertisement could turn this place into a great snack spot.

I was about 10 years old when wI can remember going to the bakery that was here before this...my family lived 2 blocks away...Heaven!!! The petitfor's[sp] were the best, better than anywhere ever...they still are! Everything that should be light and fluffy is, the frosting is smooth and delicious, The employees are friendly and helpful, I could not suggest another bakery within 50 miles. When I moved to a nearby city, I wished it were closer for those breakfast cheesecake petitfor's[sp]. Enjoy thier birthday cakes and pies!!!
