It was okay. Not the best coffee shop I've been too. It cost 2,80 euros for a sparkling water and it took like 10 mins before we even got served what we wanted. And the place was empty. I get that we are Americans and apparently the people who work there are just tried from along day but when you get customers you acknowledge them right away.

My first time in Barneys Lounge, first of all the blond cashier girl is very rude. She was annoyed when I asked her a few questions and rolled with her eyes. When I asked about my exchange she be like: ‘I dont have any coins for exchange its only 0.70 cents’ and started to laugh.. sorry first and last time here, didn’t feel comfortable at all..

This place was amazing! Seriously! Went to the other Barney’s shop before this one and found this one to be just as good in selection and quality of product but with a more “lounge” and spacious feel. They also have a vaporizer on almost every table which makes for an amazing experience where you can truly savor the taste of the different strains. If you’re looking for a place to smoke and relax, go here, seriously, just do it! Would give 6 stars if I could. Was able to get on a table with a vaporizer right away and sampled some different strains in a very relaxed and chill atmosphere with great music and coffee. Will definitely return here if I am back in Amsterdam and the other Barney’s shops as well. Definitely my go to from now on! Great job guys!

- Great strains which you can even buy the seeds;- Great staff, at the first time you can already feel like you’re a local;- They have Volcano digital for use free of charge (provided you buy there);- Awesome playlist with rock hits from all ages and sub genres, no terrible electronic music and gangster vibe.

Changing my review after today! The guy you had working in there on 23/12/19 is the rudest guy I've ever encountered in dam! Spent hundreds of euros at this place over the years, never again! Sat down for 2 mins to roll a joint and that rude airhead starts getting aggressive because we didn't buy a drink instantly. If you'd of give me a chance, I'd of spent plenty of money. Fool, get rid of this guy asap.

Love this place. Volcanoes everywhere. Really chill vibe. Expensive weed but worth the money in my opinion. Friendly staff who are very helpful with using the equipment there and with different strains of weed and hash! Smaller than the other one but off the beaten track enough that its usually quiet. Simple and small toilet area that could be nicer but I've certainly seen way worse loos in coffee shops. Definitely worth a visit!

This is one of the coziest places in Amsterdam if you just want to chill, grab something to eat and relax. We were served by a nice petite brunette girl with maybe an Eastern European accent and by a tall dude with a beard behind the counter. Both were super friendly and offered great customer service. At the end of my trip I wanted to purchase a large hoodie from them and they turned the place upside down looking for one that would fit me. They spent at least 20 minutes looking on the back, inside each and every single one of the many storage places they have and in the end there were none available, but I bought my second favorite one as I really wanted a souvenir from the great experience I had on this place. They serve no alcohol there and it could be a problem if you have a large party with some non smoking people, but we had nothing to worry about the whole time we spent there. As I’ve been there more than once or twice along my trip, when I gave them goodbye they were so nice to me and I even got a nice grinder as a gift, so I “had fewer chances to get in trouble for flying back to 2 countries with a dirty grinder”. Very thoughtful. I strongly recommend this place. I’d go out of my way just to have a coffee there and chill. 5 stars very well earned.

First and the most important point (imho) is the fact that they have one of the best staff duo I have ever encountered. The atmosphere is great, the music choice is top notch, milkshakes are magnificent. All in all, it was a quite fortunate event that we have discovered this beautiful place during our trip. (No pun intended. :P ) I hope my path will cross again with Barney's Lounge in a not far future. :D

my go to place when in the dam because of the volcanos for vaping.the cali connection weed varieties, the dutch sativas are nice also. the kind service of the workers.wish I could visit the Netherlands more often.and Barnnies at particular!
