Rating: Negative stars. Upon entering Yuma Way Berkeley Dispensary, owned by Rita Tsalyuk in Arvada, Colorado, a foul, gut-wrenching stench of mold and mildew seized my throat. While trying to not gag in front of the other customers packed into the stifling, humid lobby of the establishment, two customers spontaneously engaged in a loud, verbal altercation, threatening to physically injure each other for an unknown reason. Choking on oppressive air and attempting to not catch the attention of the aggravated customers, I took a step back and stumbled into another patron waiting to be 'served.' This patron said nothing, but spit on the floor in response to my stumble. Looking at the floor, I noticed it was uneven with deep cracks and something wet seeping from them. Nearest the largest crack lay what appeared to be a dead cockroach. Unable to withstand the foul stench and unsanitary conditions any longer, I swiftly approached the door.
