Feedback:

My FAVORITE Japanese spot (and I’m Japanese) 😊My fiancée and I come here regularly for date night, and it’s an amazing spot for a nice dinner (but you can also wear casual / business casual and fit in.)The service is super fast even on a busy night; the servers are so nice (Jinny is the best server ever!).My fave dishes are the Chilean sea bass (served on a cast iron dish), red snapper sashimi, and the O Sushi roll.Highly recommend!!

Feedback:

I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The decor is very modern and the restaurant was quiet, which would make this a nice place to go on a date. They have happy hour specials on food items like calamari and hand rolls, as well as special pricing on beer and sake. The quality of their fish was good. I didn't order any of their fusion-style rolls (they aren't really my thing), but what I did order was very good. I wouldn't hesitate to dine here again.

Decent Japanese restaurant with a good selection of sashimi, rolls, and other Japanese food. The restaurant is modern and nice looking inside. The server was quick and helpful and all the food came out quickly. One downside - I never saw soy sauce and my opinion on food was asked after I finished everything, not in the middle of it. Crispy lobster and caterpillar rolls were very delicious though - would order again and recommend!Price wise it’s a bit above average but they cater to a slightly more upscale experience.

Feedback:

Because of its location it is usually my go to door dash sushi option. I did recently have the chance to dine here in person and was thoroughly impressed with the service, presentation and the cool modern vibe of the room. High-end fish quality, tons of combination and specialty rolls that will appease and satisfy almost any sushi lovers discerning palate. For being a restaurant in the middle of a nondescript neighborhood mall area, this one ranks above the rest.

Poor service, Sushi is good but every plate is a surprise. You can order the same plate/roll a week apart and get something completely different. No 2 chefs prepare anything even similar. Food delivery is very unprofessional. It's as if No one has ever worked in a restaurant before. Too bad, could be a great place.

Literally the best sushi I've ever had. I don't really write reviews but I am so impressed with this place that I had to share. The menu is extensive. There are even vegetarian roll options. The portion sizes are great. Every bite was a flavor sensation adventure. I wish I lived in this city so that I could stuff my face with these beautiful rolls on the daily.

our evening started by contemplating whether we sit by the sushi bar or booth (I usually get the bar my like the booth after a long day that decision took me 25 secs) .. somehow it offended the staff !!! .. so we were seated in a cramped corner with three other people .. where there is a whole side of the restaurant with one table !!! old brown ish crispy “yellow” pickled ginger was thrown in front of each person asking for a straw fell into a que of serving the other three tables first then you’d get one .. with a frown .. because you gently reminded them with a smile .. a smile that you’d never get in this restaurant .. for a restaurant with those level of prices and that reputation .. you’d get your soft drink with no coaster because it’s okay to have it dripping on your shirt .. “the friendly staff” was shaking it all the way from the kitchen and will serve it while looking the side .. and never mind the ink smudges on the table .. it’s winter it won’t show on dark fabric we weren’t ask how was the food .. we were rudely asked .. do want any more stuff while we at it !!! .. the she disappeared apparently it was ktgw end of her shift .. so i guess my 25 sec wasn’t that bad baked lobster was not baked! it was microwaved .. when you put your palms on top of it the heat comes in waves .. half of the meet is ok not tender but warm .. the other half was dry over cooked and chewy i’m guessing two different patches .. same thing goes to tiger roll both ends had different heats .. one was fresh and hot .. the other was COLD! .. again two patches! .. was placed in a way that each person would only eat an end .. MEH!the O roll is raw .. i guess it was the best .. best outta the worst .. because there was no cooking involved .. fish was not fresh .. for a restaurant that pride it self for fresh food!!! i know i know it sound like i’m sore because of the 65+ dollars for three non fresh rolls .. i spent 40 dollars on one roll in a less pretentious restaurant but it was darn goooooood felt like it was fresh outta the boat .. does the price matter!? NOa word for the owner .. pssst .. sir .. over worked underpaid staff will harm your business .. your staff will treat your customers the way you treat them .. quick question what’s your customers turn over? .. do they ever come again!? .. people .. clients .. and staff .. will always remember how you treated them!! no matter how good is your product / service quality!!! .. perhaps your quality sucks maybe you treated your suppliers the way you treated employees

This comes from a non-fish-eater's perspective so take for what you will :) I have ordered from this place many times for catering and it has always worked well. It is pricey but that is expected of sushi. I went here recently for lunch and they have a very nice atmosphere. The wait staff is all very friendly and good about taking care of everyone. I got the marinated short rib and it was ok. Not the best I'd ever had, though, and certainly not 20 bucks good which is what the lunch meal costs. I can understand that price for a sushi lunch but not short rib (especially not that little meat) and not teriyaki chicken either. Other than that it seemed great. Miso soup was good and the tempura was tasty. As long as you expect to pay 20 bucks+ for your lunch, knock yourself out

Feedback:

Nice modern decor is the only thing going for it. Like others have mentioned food comes out at random and over 30 minutes apart from the first person to the last. First person to receive it finished long before the last person even got their food.Service is also terrible. Looks like everyone's first time at this job. Absentminded, not around and never even refilled our drinks (maybe it was extra). To top it off they couldn't run our Costco Visa card so we paid cash. They return change based on some other table's check which was much higher than ours.Don't know about lunch but dinner is overpriced for this pseudo sushi place. Everything is a la cart but menu is full of rolls and baked lobsters and such. No bento, sushi or sashimi sets. $35 chirashi. This is about as Japanese as PF Chang is Chinese. Portions are extremely small. Even my 7 year old had to order tuna roll and California roll. We ordered 3 yellowtail collar and one was double the size of the other 2 very small collar. Waiter says the person who gets the large one is lucky. Seriously!? A $16 yellowtail collar no bigger than a McDonald quarter-pounder patty is lucky? After spending $200 for dinner my boys grabbed 5 Guys burgers afterwards.

Great food; music is terrific - light jazz piano, etc., no loud vocals; great atmosphere with the blue decor; but they never answer their phone. What's up with that????Wait staff and servers and friendly and very knowledgeable; sushi chefs do a great job.atmosphere is very relaxing and I wish I could eat there daily.
