Having work in the healthcare field for quite some time. It’s always hard when your on the other side of the counter. Knowing what really nurses and doctors think of at a patient when they’re not around. There are plenty of healthcare professionals that’s been on the scene too long that they think they’ve seen it all. So most of them really loose compassion and ethics. It’s becomes more of a job now. Like an everyday things in the factory line. There are still people out there though that actually love doing their job and not in it for just the paycheck. That actually showing someone respect and compassion still has meaning. I understand being in healthcare is not easy. You have to deal with different patients everyday and they are always not the same. Some are nice and some are not. Still, whatever kind of person you meet, you still have to give them the same treatment as you would show someone who’s nice and not. This is not the case though. I’d like to give Dr. Ross Cohen for giving my mom excellent care at the ER. Also my moms RN, Jose. I never got to ask his last name. For that I apologize. Physician like Dr Cohen and a nurse like Jose are the definition of Thrive. Healthcare professionals like them help patients Thrive because they treat their patients with respect, dignity and compassion.
