I had my first 2 kids at kaiser Baldwin Park when it was a brand new hospital and only accepted private insurance, they were a 5 star back then , there was always parking and the wait time was 5 mins the lab there hardly ever a wait time and if there was maybe 10 mins at the most . We ended up leaving Kaiser due to it getting crowded and we kept asking wth is going on and one of my children’s doctors told us Kaiser is accepting medical now and that’s why you see a lot more people.. we went with Blue cross and been with them for over 15 years and had 2 more children at Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena , but my husband and his great idea change the whole family back to kaiser this past October during open enrollment I was furious , I told him wth i hate Kaiser and then today he came home and said Human Resources called me and said I still had a chance to go back to blue cross if He wanted to I told him what are you waiting for change it back I love my doctors and I can go to any hospital I want and my children can actually go to a children’s hospital if they need to .. its very sad because at one time Kaiser was a very good hospital and was private you could only get kaiser through employment but when they started accepting medical it started going down hill and now they treat the patients like cattle their just s number for them ., At this point I wouldn’t give them a star at all ..
