Feedback:
I do not recommend this office.Their doctor is patient and does a good job, but their billing is horrible, fails to communicate problems, and is dishonest, waiting for us to run up a bill before letting us know that they do not actually accept our insurance. We took my seven year old daughter in and she was told she needed glasses. Before her exam, they said they would bill our insurance and everything would be fine. It took three weeks before she finally settled on a pair. We were told the insurance would cover her glasses and we were all good. The lady even went so far as to pull up our insurance coverage just to confirm that they did indeed cover my daughter's glasses.I scheduled myself an appointment at this time since everything was going so well. After my appointment was finished and they had informed me my daughter's glasses had come in, they told me that they did not actually work with our insurance and that we had a $600+ bill to pay. I asked what had happened to our insurance and they said that they had already been denied THREE TIMES since my daughter's first visit, but they failed to tell me about any of this! Just to be clear... after billing the insurance failed for my daughter's eye exam, they told me her glasses were covered and didn't tell me about the failed billing. Over the next month of picking out and ordering glasses, the billing failed again and they again didn't tell me. It wasn't until I had come in again and finished my ($240) exam, believing that our insurance was working as intended, that they slapped us with the bill. A bill that they knew about BEFORE my appointment and could have told me about before hand.At any other doctor's office, if an insurance claim is denied or they don't work with the insurance company, they let you know ahead of time so you can be ready for the bill. Instead, they decided to wait and let me continue to order glasses for my daughter as well as schedule an exam for myself before they let me in on the joke. The lady even laughed at me when I told her it was a lot of money to be paying!
