Feedback:
Great retreat place if you have kids. There's a lot for them to do. Foosball table, Lego room, room full of blocks, garage made into a nice rink for them to play in and of course there's a secret slide to the garage from the house. Amenities are nice and has a fire pit outside along with a grill out in the patio. Has around 7 rooms but can easily hold over 20 people! The downside is the plumbing. The water has a metallic taste and the is a little yellow. Since it's yellow it's probably a sign of iron and not rust. But still I don't recommend drinking their water. Bring bottled water! And rinse your mouth with drinking water after brushing your teeth.

Our reunion for 22 family members (from 4 months to 70) was perfect at Blue Mountain Retreat. The house is above well appointed. With lots of little extras we did not need to go out and buy (spices, plastic wraps, aluminum foil, pantry food items, games, puzzles, a great well tuned piano, etc). The large 3 car garage acts as a play room with pickle ball, basketball, scooters, bike etc. We didn't see the kids for 2 days because they wouldn't leave the foam block room and they loved the secret passageways and slides from one floor to the other. There is a great fire pit and lots of chairs to go around it, gorgeous trails through the virgin forest right next to the house which is like going into another world of lush moss, ferns and cedars/redwoods. Dale Gale, the owner quickly solved a trash problem when it seems like the trash company did not pick up trash from the previous week. It is secluded, yet within 30-45 minutes of Port Townsend, a lavender farm, sea kayaking, clamming and whale watching. We didn't go into Seattle, but you can drive about an hour to take a free ferry over. Olympic National Park's eastern end is also about an hour or so. Our granddaughter left her beloved stuffed animal there and they promptly mailed it back to us. I would highly recommend Blue Mountain!
