Too often these days a store or business receives a social post from a customer, it often complains about some preconceived Injustice- many times, I imagine, without any validity at all. Please rest assure that this post is not one of those- in fact, just the opposite. We have been coming to your garden center since the 1980s. In the past eight years or so we have been professionally assisted each time by Suzanne Katz Without question , she is a most valuable asset to your company as she does make our shopping a great experience, she is the reason why we return time and time again. Suzanne's willingness to help us with our choices, her knowledge about individual plants and her recommendations for planting and nurturing are all invaluable. We wish to commend her to you. Sincerely David Arthur.

My wife, father in law, and I visited to pick up some plants for our home. A+ nursery. Huge selection of beautiful plants, veggies, flowers, pots, supplies, you name it. The best part is that every single employee is helpful and knowledgeable about plants. Oh and super friendly too! It’s incredible to me that big box stores don’t prioritize having knowledgeable support staff but that’s the world we live in. Luckily green thumb nursery has amazing staff to provide support for their equally amazing products. I can genuinely say it was a pleasure for us to shop at green thumb. We will be back! I need more plants!!

I've always drove by there and thought it was small. Well, today I decided to go inside just to "look" and first loved the off street parking. The outdoor plants and trees section is huge and the indoor section is also spacious. Plenty of healthy looking plants and lots of pots, fountains, etc. The staff is very helpful. I ended up buying a few things and will definitely go back with my family.

Recently moved back to the valley and was distraught that my local "go to" for all my gardening needs, Green Arrow, was retired. Heard through a friend that this place was related and decided to drop in on this very overcast afternoon to search for a flower I hoped they might have. Arming myself with only a picture of it one of the staff I was able to identify it and help me locate ways in which I could propagate it myself. The nursery is gorgeous, just like the one I was used to for many years on Sepulveda, and it brings me joy to a found a place to go besides Home Depot or Lowe's for all of my organic and amendment needs.

One of my favorite businesses to visit, it's always a treat to walk through their doors, because we don't really have many public gardens, and this is the closest thing. (The Getty is far) They use to have a branch on Sepulveda Boulevard & Ryan, in the suburb of North Hills. But unfortunately it was closed. For years I had been missing something I always thought would be there, and I'm glad to see the organization is still around in the San Fernando Valley. And it's here, in Canoga Park. This is the only place that has such a variety of diverse flowers, so you see why heartache comes to mind when they close their doors forever.

Green Thumb is the go-to nursery out in the west part of the San Fernando Valley. They carry a large array of plants, soil, pots, seeds and tools for both weekend gardeners and professionals. While their prices are definitely higher than what you would find at some other nurseries and big box garden centers, you will be hard-pressed to find the variety and excellent condition of their plants. Their service is outstanding; staff will happily provide personal assistance and advice. Great people and a great nursery.

I think what the nursery has to offer in plants and pots is great. But everyone's attitude is not up to the customer service. Don't expect any enthusiasm because everyone is there just to be there, looking drained and hate life. I asked a question about a pot that I wasn't familiar with and 2min later heard her laughing and making jokes about it with her co-workers. That was the most exciting thing to them, talking about you like your an idiot. If I did that in my salon, I would not be in business but hey that's why they depend on someone else's business and success. Look at their faces the next time you're there and prove me wrong.

I frequent Green thumb Nursery because of their wide variety of plants and landscaping items. I have been to many nurseries and this one has that greatest selection as well as competitive prices. The staff are knowledgeable and available. Few lines at checkout and assistance available for loading your goods etc... So far I am a satisfied customer.

Just had my first visit to Green Thumb and I recommend the Nursery to all near and far! I purchased two beautiful evergreen topiaries and two planters and the customer service was stellar! Since I have no green thumb, Tito, who helped us, was kind, helpful and patient with my perfect planters indecision and my husband’s queries regarding his rosebush planters. The help to the car from Jordan was equally positive as he carefully inserted the plants, etc into our vehicle. Thank you Green Thumb, we will be back!

Helpful hint: if you don't carry a specific item that a customer is asking for, just say, "I'm sorry, we don't carry that here. May I suggest something else?" If the customer says thanks, but no, she specifically needs that item, don't turn your back on her and stalk away like she's just smacked your newborn baby. And don't try to mansplain to her how she really doesn't need that item anyway.
