Dan's the Man. My Honda Ruckus (think the Batman or Call of Duty brother to the Metropolitan) needed a carb flush and tune up in a bad way. A quick yelp search made it happen. Dan is responsive to calls, and no other service or dealership offered to pick my bike up and transport to their shop. He was on time and straight up cool. I appreciate a mechanic who tells me what I need to know, gives an accurate ready-by-date, and genuinely goes the extra mile (literally) to provide great service. He was even cool when I shipped my own battery to him since the Parts shops were all closed over Sunday. Battery arrived Monday (and early, thanks Beszos) and Dan had the bike ready to rip by end of day. Highly recommend and works 7 days/week to fit your schedule.

** Returned November, 2019 with my 2012 Yamaha WR450 Dual Sport. Dan installed a new set of tires, changed the oil and filter, adjusted/lube chain to prep the bike for the hard winter trail riding. Budget is still the best price in town with the highest quality workmanship. ** Returned June, 2019 for a tune up, new battery, and fresh set of tires and oil change on the old SV650. This bike is nearing 50,000 miles, but runs like a top! ** Returned September 2017 for a complete tune up and valve check. As usual, Dan provided excellent, fast, AND inexpensive service. Unbelievable good deal. My SV650 has nearly 50k on the clock and I owe it to this shop.** Returned August 2016. Another fresh set of tires, new chain and sprockets! Fantastic fast service, cheapest in town!I had Dan look at my SV650s shortly after I purchased it. He did a complete detail and tune job after installing a fresh set of tires. The bike runs better than ever and Dan charged a very modest rate. I was overall very happy with the quality, price, and speed of service I received at Budget Cycle. I will return again!

I took my Kawasaki Versys to Dan who gave it a once over, and I would absolutely recommend him. Friendly guy, quick to answer the phone, and very professional. Id never taken my bike to a mechanic before, aside from having new tires put on it, so I can’t speak to the price of the repairs, but I felt I got great value for my money. Also, the bike is running great, and feels like new. Thanks Dan!

I was in over my head trying to install some super stiff Metzeler Tourance tires on my KLR at home on a Sunday. I just couldn’t get the bead over the rim, and I was starting to tear up the sidewall of a very expensive tire. Budget cycle was one of the only places open on a sunday. Dan answered the phone and was super friendly and offered to help me out.I came in with the tire. We chatted while I watched Dan work. This guy has clearly mounted thousands of tires. He moved fast, had the tire mounted in no time, and gave me some tips specific to my bike.How is this guy not booked up for months? How is he open on Sundays and still manages to have lower prices than anyone else? Don’t let the ‘budget’ in the name fool you. This guy has been a motorcycle mechanic for 40 years and is somehow offering a premium service for not much money. I’ll definitely be back!

Don't let the modest name and location fool you, this place provides superior service with high-quality, professional equipment.Dan, the owner/mechanic, has been working on motorcycles for 4 decades. Not only is he incredibly knowledgeable and thorough in his work, but he's also a rather friendly guy.I will be returning here for every motorcycle service that I ever find myself in need of.

If I just say - "great job" I will say nothing! It's awesome!!! Let me explain briefly why. Customer service: everything is as promised and in time or even better:) Extra thanks for bike delivery service - very convenient. Maintenance and service: professional and fair. After oil, filter and brake fluids were changed, Dan inspected and tuned up my Suzuki GS500F 2009 as a rocket. Right now, engine sounds more confident and calm, overall controlling became more sensitive and I would say - simple. And of cause pricing! A lot of motorcyclists are able to maintain their bikes by them self and I'm not exception. I can change motor oil and filter, probably brake fluid and coolant but I prefer to delegate it to professional in case if I may afford it. "Budget Cycle & Scooter Service" may afford everyone! It's at least 2 times cheaper than any other closest motorcycle service. Thank you, Dan, one more time and keep making happy your customers!Regards,Alex

I’ve gotten both my motorcycles serviced at Budget Cycle & Scooter Service. First, a Honda Rebel and now, a Kawasaki Ninja. Dan, the owner/mechanic, did an excellent tune-up job each time. He’s very thorough in his work and always offers plenty of free advice on bike maintenance and care.His rates are reasonable, his workmanship accurate and his turnaround time minimal. Highly recommended.

My motorcycle was having issues starting in cold weather and after taking it to 3 professional shops from Renton to Bellevue, the problem was not resolved and they all charged their piece. As it got colder the bike became unrideable/unreliable so I decided to try Budget Cycle out based on the reviews. A shop ran out in a household with Dan the mechanic servicing the bikes with many years of experience. What I found was top notch customer service, work that went above and beyond to get the problem solved, and an overall great experience. Needless to say my bike is now running and I will be avoiding the professional shops from here on in (once a different shop told me they could clean my chain because it was dirty the same day I had just cleaned it!!) You can expect better service than almost all of the other shops; possibly combined.
