Amazing food!! They just released a bunch of delicious NEW MENU items. We ordered the chicken parmigiana, the pumpkin soup and the Pascualina (veggie pot pie). The pumpkin soup is so tasty and hearty...seriously tastes like grandma's delicious home cooked soup. The parmigiana was excellent, especially with all that delicious cheese on top! The Pascualina is definitely our all time favorite and we always make sure to have this one on our order....I love the new items and can't wait to try them all. Next on our list are the baby back ribs !!
Feedback:
This place has become a true staple. Their new expanded menu has some super tasty “family meals”, the chicken parmigiana being my favorite addition. You can pick one up and it comes in two big pieces in an oven safe container ready to bake at home for when you don’t feel like cooking but still want that home cooking. My other fave is the veggie pot pie. Super tasty and light. Not to mention their empanadas which are better than any empanadas I’ve tried in Argentina. No joke.
Feedback:
So cute! And very tasty. Nice outdoor seating, such a surprise and really enjoyable.+tiny parking lot, but also lots of street parking+really pleasant outdoor seating area+wide selection of empanadas, 1 vegan option

The empanadas are really good, but I was extremely disappointed when I ordered a full dozen for $42 (overpriced but I’m happy to pay it) and was rudely denied an extra container of the dipping sauce by a man with long hair and a beard. I pointed out it was for a dozen empanadas and that 4 of us were sharing the dozen. His response was this is what we give and if you want more you need to buy it for $5. Ridiculous! For $42 you shouldn’t nickel and dime me for some sauce that already isn’t enough for the dozen. Don’t get me wrong though, the empanadas are delicious! And the cashier was really polite but I suggest giving proper portions and perhaps making it an actual deal to buy the dozen. $47 for a dozen is extremely overpriced. Amarretes!
Feedback:
I was visiting Santa Barbara and saw this place on Yelp so I decided to try it. I came around 4 PM and by that time not all empanadas are available but I tried the chicken and the corn empanadas. They were made to order which took a little bit of time but nothing unreasonable. When the food was brought to me, the empanadas were really hot az they just came out of the oven, but they were good! They also give you a side of baked potatoes which were really good as well. I hope the business is successful and that a lot of people come to try their delicious food.
Feedback:
Wow, straight out of the oven, crispy and toasty. They were nice and hot and the chimichurri was amazing, top 2 I've had. The space is mostly used as a catering kitchen for their other locations and catering business but there is seating out front. It's a bit difficult to spot from Hayley St as it's recessed inside a small gated area. There are a couple of spots in the gated area and plenty of street parking close by. What's great is that they'll also deliver to the near by breweries (I know I've seen a menu floating around at telegraph).
Feedback:
Best hidden gem in Santa Barbara! Makes for a great dinner as well as a party! We had Buena Onda cater a party for us recently, our guests were exclaiming over how good the flavor and quality the food was! I think it will be a new tradition for us. Have fun, eat Buena Onda!
