Super fun candy store! Even if you're not on vacation, this great little shop makes you feel the spirit of summer! Vibrant and friendly, yummy treats for all- highly recommended. Unfortunately I can't speak for the cafe side of the business, I was too distracted by the hand made chocolates and circus popcorn. Satisfy your sweet tooth or pick up a treat for someone on your mind! Genuine Americana.

We came back this year because kids had an amazing time getting the biggest cotton candy they've ever seen. However this year, it was completely dismal and for the price of $3+, it just ruined the whole experience. This is not the way to run the business in my opinion. We aren't there to buy cotton candies, we were there to experience the excitement of getting the largest cotton candy we've ever seen because C shop is just a different kind of candy store. Very disappointed, won't return.

We came in with 7 kids for ice cream. We waited for 5 mins with no line in front of us at the ice cream counter. Three women working continued to greet and assist those at the candy counter who walked in after us. We were not acknowledged until my mother asked for help and addressed the lack of customer service. The employee responded by telling my mother to leave. No apology for the wait. We regular the shop during the summer and it was my moms first time. We will support local elsewhere.

Local excellence! No trip to Birch Bay is complete without a trip to this local gem candy maker. For many years, they've been producing quality truffles, fudge, caramels, peanut butter treats – and Easter bunnies. Oh, the bunnies! They're all made in-house, primarily using antique chocolate molds, and are all masterfully done, in dark, milk and white chocolate. Be prepared for long lines around Easter and in the summer tourist season, though. Don't worry: it's worth it!

I have had the pleasure of dealing with Pat and his family, and business for several years!I can not understate how fortunate Birch Bay is to have the C-Shop here!I would treat my employees to two full size pizza's at least one a week while they open within the last several years! This establishment is run with integrity and good spirit for ALL.I could go on and on..Passion and Love is the basis that this establishment is founded upon. On a personal note..this is what business should be founded upon!DB

I have been going to the C shop my whole life the side where you can buy candy is great. Great service the chocolate is to dye for and snow cones are great! But today for the first time ever I tried eating on the cafe side. The service was horrible the girls where very slow and acted like the customers where bothersome. My husband and I played 30 dollars for 2 cheese steak sandwiches and pops. We waited 30 mins when our sandwiches finally got to us they were soggy and the side of my bun sluffed off the meat tasted so sour and spoiled I couldn't even finish it. The reason I gave the C shop any stars at all is it's saving grace the candy shop side which I do recommend but like I said the cafe will not get our buisness agien.

Sticky buns and cinnamon rolls are the star of this show. The pizza looks good, fun ice cream flavors, sandwiches left something to be desired, but the sticky buns and cinnamon rolls are incredible. Honestly the sandwiches we got weren't great and there was quite a wait so this five star review really in due to the sticky buns. This is now my go-to for cinnamon rolls and sticky buns. Just be prepared for a wait for anything other than bakery and ice cream if you go on a sunny weekend.

White chocolate wasn't as good as expected. Others stale. Service and people were excellent. Place was quaint. It was open an extra day. So you could taste that it was the last of the barrel. Did not get to enjoy the other features of this shop, which are many. I gave it a 4 star because I think in season it is definetly worth the visit. Watch the candy and breads being made.

Pricey and always busy. Their pizza is amazing but there's quite a long wait for it.The best part is the customer service. They clearly care about the many people who come through which is very nice.They could use a kids area. That'd be my only suggestion. My kids just end up running around their dining area and they probably wouldn't if there was a little toy corner or something.

A little pricy, but worth it. The candy is almost all made there, and the ice cream is delicious. Their pizza is expensive but really, really good. The only thing that is a bummer is that my son runs around constantly and since there’s no kids corner or room since they’re pretty consistently busy, it’s really hard to keep him entertained while waiting for food. Other than that, I love it. All the workers are really nice and work super hard to make sure everyone is happy. I recommend stopping here anytime you’re in Birch Bay.
