this use to be my favorite place. This food is still excellent and the owner and the 2 lady cooks are phenomenal. But the gentlemen and young lady up front have made me not want too ever step foot in this place again unfortunately. They have no customer service skills what so ever. I feel like I am causing them a problem for them too take my order. I hadn’t been in for months and tried again recently a couple times because my mom wanted her waffle (which is delicious) and notice 2 new gentlemen and high were quite friendly. I hope the owner gets ahold of her café.

So disappointed 😔. Extremely slow...food took forever (only two of us), and there were only a handful of customers who came after us, yet one group received their meal before us. Server was friendly but has a lot to learn. Food was good, not great. Definitely not worth the wait. We won't be returning, nor will I ever recommend this place.

This is a great place for breakfast and lunch (closed for dinner). We go there for the Impossible Burger, Beyond Sausage Philly, and other vegan options. The prices are a little high for some items, but the food is good. We also like the atmosphere. It's definitely worth a try, especially if you're vegan. The Portabella is also good, pictured.

We always enjoy visiting Cafe Deva when we are in Modesto’s downtown area. It’s on a busy street with limited parking, but we don’t usually have a problem finding a place. This small restaurant offers a wide array of nutritious sandwiches, salads, and beverages, and we’ve never been disappointed. You order at the counter and they deliver the food to your table. Sometimes it takes a little time for the food to be prepared, but we think it’s worth the wait.

Came here for an early lunch with my friend. Love the environment of the place. I ordered a vanilla latte(which was delicious) and a philly cheesesteak with a cup of their famous taco soup(soup was amazing). Only thing that stops me from giving it a higher rating is the cup I was given for water. It was still visibly dirty but didn't notice until I poured myself water. Thankful i noticed it before i actually drank from it.

many of times..... but today was not a good day for them.... first of all I get there at 10:45am they tell me no more breakfast breakfast stops at 11am ... Then no more coffee ask them to make more..... They make a pot of Colombian.... I wanted the jungle coffee... They tell me they are not making that anymore today... Now I'm forced to buy lunch... I order the hamburger..... Half an hour later I get the hamburger seriously only 2 people in the restaurant.... Owner was not there ......Again not a good day .....👎I like to say i emjoyed my lunch but it's hard when it's a half hour late ane your drinking coffee you didn't want.... 😕

They really need to improve so many things, from the quality of the food,to their service. They just sort of drop your food on the table with the same sort of attitude as you might place a book on a Shelf in your own home. Not a single smile or word during the process. Three of us had a scramble and 2 had a waffle. The waffle is very small and Soggy. It was the smallest waffle we had ever seen in a breakfast place . All of us who had potatoes just left most of them on the plate because they just didn't taste very good. I thought mine tasted old. The waffles were advertised with fruit, but not much of it. Jam doesn't come with the toast, and when you ask for it, what you get is ridiculously tiny, just enough to cover Maybe a quarter of a slice of the bread. They are very stingy in that department. When placing my order I put a tip in their tip box with Nary a word of recognition, just that bland stare the same as when they deliver the food. Overall, people dealing with your orders don't seem to care if you are there or not, and the food is not worth the price. A lot of it might be the cooks fault, who either needs to upgrade his act, or be replaced.

The food at deva cafe is amazing! Even if you are not vegan or vegetarian you will love it. I have eaten here many times and have always been happy with my meal. The smoothies are amazing, the carrot cake one tastes exactly like carrot cake, I also like that you can mix your own. One of my favourites is mango, pineapple and cinnamon. Some of my favourite meals are the jackfruit curry, lemongrass stir-fry, banana blossom salad, baked eggplant and the breakfast porridge. The two girls that work there are really lovely and obviously very talented! I have tried other vegetarian cafes in Kampot during my 5 weeks here but this is honestly the best!

The atmosphere is very cute and artistic, however the live music during our breakfast was uncomfortably loud. I watched people hide around walls and outsiders keep walking. Thank God we got 1 of 2 tables outside. We ordered 2 latte's... They were subpar and came in huge glass tumbler's, making it very difficult to drink.. they were very HOT! The scramble's were good. Overall because of the subpar coffee and extremely loud music, I don't think I would come back.

I would stop by this place once in a while, in the morning and if I’m downtown. I’m not a fan of having no servers in a “Cafe”, but I adjusted to it since the food is great. The food is expensive I’ll say that and customer service is okay. It feels like the place has no soul. The reason for my one star review is because I felt mistreated. The register had brought out food to two men who were sitting on the far right and brought them silverware. This is uncommon since customers are instructed to get their own silverware. It feels like you’re eating at a cafeteria/buffet. So I sit down after ordering, my food is brought to me and the register says,”the silverware is up in the front” then walks away. F@$k& b@ll$&t!!!! You mean that I watched you just bring those two men silverware and this register had the guts to treat me differently. What is this some kind of favoritism with customers? Idk if it’s because I’m young and I didn’t have my suit on today, but it just did not sit right with me. That’s the last time I’ll ever go there.
