This has been a solid local favorite for me since it opened near my home a few years ago. Always known for having super delicious options for both carnivores and vegans alike. Their vegan ingredients were always house made and I quickly became a regular for their vegan c hu chicken nachos. The last few I've ordered they have been out of a lot of ingredients to complete their vegan meals which means options for my boyfriend and none for me. Which has kept me from returning as often lately.

First TIME HERE!!What a wonderful WELCOME, I received (very important to me )Then the gentleman behind the register explained menu and let me sample their agua fresca(made fresh daily ) I ordered Shrimp Taco and Fish taco, they were grilled and absolutely delicious and very fresh. If I was to change anything I would have them double up on the tortillas. ...only cause their tacos are so big.I will be coming back, hope to see you here :)

I saw this place when it was preparing to open and I waited patiently and I waited patiently for it to open. I liked the place that was there before and I was hoping that something good would take its place. Well My wife stopped there today to grab lunch for us. I have to say I was kind of disappointed. The Machaca burrito was under seasoned. A sprinkle of salt before wrapping it up would have been perfect. Even grilling the burrito on the flat top or even the char broiler would have added another layer of flavor. Their salsa game isn’t strong. The green salsa was really watery and lacked flavor. The red salsa had a better consistency but no heat what so ever or distinct flavor. All in all I don’t plan on returning, I will stick to Cilantro on Sherman Way and Whitsett.

These are the vegan chicken tacos.Real. Damn. Good👍 I was not disappointed. The al pastor burrito was good too. That ones jackfruit. The green sauce was spicy but not overpowering. Glad more plant based alternatives are coming to sfv.

It's rare and I mean rare to find a decent shrimp taco in the valley Cali Fresh has the best you're paying for quality. I'd definitely recommend the shrimp tacos and there rice is very delicious as well.I will definitely return.

Excellent,freshly prepared ,not your typical Mexican place! Carnitas- are from FRESH PORK,,a rarity,as lots of chain Mexican Restaurants typically use FROZEN. I can taste the difference. I loved every bite! Try the Steak Quesadilla,it's made with a twist- it has a bit if jernel corn & a few mexi- veggies. Best to not spoil it,and get you to try it,it's DELICIOUS. BURRITOS are wet or dry,packed with lots of whatever meat you desire. This place deserves more recognition! ( Maybe the location sucks) located at Lankershim Bl & Webb Ave. Meet at a point. They close early,like 9 p.m. Prices are typically like, but not too high.

NOT your typical Mexican fare! Gotta try it! I'm impressed,as the food is flavorful,without being overly spicy. I enjoyed the Carnitas- and the Pork was FRESH! ( Most Carnitas- served at expem$ive take-outs are originally frozen.) Moist,jucy and tender. The SteK Quesadilla is different,as it had Corn,and other veggies inside. Not a whole lot,but just enough to make this interesting,and tasty.All are serious be Ed with chips and a small side of salsa. They should have a larger size available,as it's that good! Your choice if green ( Verde) or red (rojo) Fair prices,too and they take Master Card & Visa.

Delicious vegetarian burrito. I was intrigued by all their vegan options, but went for the classic burrito. One word of caution, if ordering from postmates, make sure to select no meat or to write it in if ordering the Cali fresh burrito, the postmates app automatically puts in asada if no choice is made. Better than using postmates is calling the restaurant!
