Went in March, when all this pandemic started. Great people working there and they had everything in meat that I was looking for. I talked to the owner for a few minutes and he was very nice, gave me a number and told me to go in. The number was for the meats. They were very friendly and fast, got every thing I ordered. Also stopped by the restaurant and got a sandwich, very, very good food.

I was racially discriminated upon on my very first visit to green acres. I hadn’t felt discriminated or racially profiled until I arrived at green acres in Simi Valley. I would like to announce that this place has the most horrible customer service and if you’re Hispanic or anything other than Caucasian you’ll be BULLIED. If YOU are a prejudice person then this may be your place. Everyone else, BEWARE. We are all equal. I will do my BEST to share my experience with everyone I encounter. I speak four languages, please trust me. STAY AWAY.

I appreciate that I can get ground lamb and other cuts of meat not normally available locally at the box stores.— Simi is fortunate to have Green Acres.Additionally , the prepared marinated beef, chicken and pork are perfectly delicious especially in a time crunch. The deli offers quite an array as well. I definitely enjoy the quality and value.,

We come here pretty often and I gotta say the food here is amazing!!!!! They have ribs, chicken, tri tip, fruits, vegetables and more!!!! I like it how they pay close attention to detail and make sure they only serve their customers the highest quality food they can make! I like it how they have a cafe area too!!! Overall, I would come back here again!

Green Acres is a local barbecue place in town here they offer tri-tip sandwiches and ribs both pork and beef, beans, salad, and other sandwiches of many kinds. Barbecue chicken as well. It's a really good place to eat especially the tri-tip sandwiches are off the hook. The picture below are beef ribs pretty awesome!!! You can eat there to order or you can get it to go. They also have a store where you can buy select items inside and cook your own things as well!

Green Acres is awesome for high quality meat. They have a giant meat case that runs the whole length of the store anything you could imagine. It's not cheap but you get what you pay for. I love their outdoor patio for some good BBQ. I especially like the beef ribs meal that comes with chili grilled garlic bread and macaroni salad. There's just something about that outdoor patio that I enjoy. All the employees are wonderful they are so friendly and so customer service oriented and you can tell there are a lot of regular customers.

This is THE place to go for all of your bbq needs!The quality of everything that they sell here is above and beyond good! Prices are fairly reasonable, not cheap but reasonable. Staff is super helpful and friendly. Plenty of homemade goodies there to keep you busy for a long time. Also has that cool old school butcher shop vibe that I remember as a kid. Check em out!

There is no finer butcher and meat shop within 50 miles of Green Acres.They have an amazing selection of meats. Including delicious house made cured meats, AS WELL as Boarshead brand.If you want good meat, this is the place to come. Forget Costco. This is the real deal.But.... I rarely walk out of there with the bill being under $100. Its just too hard to only pickup one thing there.Their produce is ok. Variety is good, just not as fresh (or as in expensive) as chain stores and supermarkets.

Brand new place lots of potential. Still got kinks to workout.Sunday LunchProsEveryone was agreeable and happy and cooperative.About 20 beers on tap, looks great.Food took about 6mins to arrive.Had meals compensated without a question.ConsOrdering took a long time because 1 register open, to help control kitchen overflow but left us standing uncomfortably long, received apologies but still My TriTip was very rare as opposed to medium like the usual outdoor grill.Wife's chicken was very rare and almost uncooked inside, sent back and recooked no problems there.Sons burger had a hair on the plate.Daughter with dairy allergy left with mouth tingling.Will check back soon because of the existing Sterling reputation of Green Acres, it shouldn't stay like that for long.

The place was OK for the 1st night being opened food was not the best but not the worst I kind of expected more from the opening. But that doesn't mean next time won't be better . this was the 1st day of 1st soft opening. It took about 30 minutes for the food to get brought to us for take out order hopefully the speed will improve next time
