Horrible Customer Service. Trying save money by having no phone support and only available 8am-5pm EST. Has denied warranty request. You can't be a Consumer Tech company and separate yourself from the Consumer by email and chat.

Canary has blatantly deceived their early adopters and loyal customers. They clearly advertised their product on the basis of not having a monthly fee. I purchased this $250 item and it is now unusable without paying $9.99 per month. This is textbook bait-and-switch and Canary should be ashamed of themselves. Even if you're a new customer and are OK with what they're charging, stay away - they have clearly proven that they will lie to you. Don't make the mistake of purchasing any of their products.

I purchased my system almost 3 years ago based on the fact that i didn't have to pay a monthly membership fee. Now my service is downgraded to a useless 10 sec blurb and i am being forced to purchase a membership to access features i originally purchased . Feeling like i was kicked in the gut!!
