The staff at the Burlington location of The Friendly Stranger provided an outstanding customer experience today. I ordered some flower online last night to be delivered as a birthday gift today, and in the special delivery instructions had simply asked for them to please wish my cousin a Happy Birthday. Well, they went over and above expectations and sent along a birthday grab bag full of free gifts with the flower ordered. My cousin is pretty stoked with the Smoking rolling tray, multiple packs of Smoking rolling papers, the sweet fitted cap, and the various stickers and lanyards you gifted today. You made someone's birthday extra special. Thank you.

Recently used their delivery service and can't say enough good things about them. The ordering process online was seamless, and when you order before 2pm, they deliver same day. I picked up a few goodies for 4/20 and they arrived just as I was finishing dinner (around 7:30PM) - so the perfect time to indulge after eating. The delivery guy was super friendly (ha, pun intended) and products were nicely packaged (ordered some glassware which they securely wrapped). Honestly, it was such a good experience, I ordered a few more things 2 days later :O10/10 would recommend to anyone living in Toronto/GTA area - they deliver from Burlington which is even more impressive.

I ordered a couple of small items atvthe beginning of April with no show or update on package. It was reported that there was a big mixup and leg with Canada Post due to the current pandemic. I waited over 2 weeks and worked with Chris Nikolaidis over email and with Canada Post. Chris was very professional, timely and more than helpful. the outcome was greatly appreciated I will definitely shop with these place again. Thanks Chris for your dedication and understanding

Awesome stuff. Lots of artistic pieces and has something for everyone and every price point. I also love their library of brochures and education material, about every topic, legal or not. Its important that people be informed and there is no charge for the brochures. Also super nice staff, though you get better service when things are slower.

I can't stand this overpriced, elitist, holier-than-thou boutique. They don't like the image associated with traditional head shops, so back in the 2000s they would kick anyone out who made any sort of reference to marijuana or said the word "bong". They made up a story about "undercovers" going around trying to buy bongs. So, if you're too good to be associated with marijuana "culture", and shop at places like Hunny Pot, the friendly stranger is for you!

Excellent and amazing service. Super friendly and patient. I was greeted within 30 seconds by Aaliyah, answered all of my questions very well and even gave me some tips on how to clean my pieces. They did an amazing bubble wrap job on the bong, downstem and bowl triple the thickness my local bong store back in Ottawa provides. Your bong will be protected until you bring it home. She was even kind enough to fill up the couple lighters I purchased with butane. Definitely will be visiting again if I come back to Toronto, will be ordering online delivery for sure. Very knowledgeable and professional.

*Super friendly staff*Staff is always friendly during my trips to this store.As a novice to cannabis culture I always have many questions that I am sure most people would roll their eyes to but the staff is always patient and willing to share advice on all matters.The knowledge of the staff is above average and they are able to guide me to the correct products for my needs instead of trying to fill my hands with the most expensive products. For example at first as a noob I was intimidated by the the amount of grinders and especially the 5+ cases of rolling papers. But with the staffs help I left with exactly what I needed. On my first day in Toronto, walking through the city I find this great shop. Since the first moment just by looking at the shop windows I got excited!!! Inside you can find everything that you can imagine about weed... from planting it, to cooking it, smoke it... clothes and much more stuff!!! I told them that it was like the Disneyland of weed for me!!! Really good quality shop, amazing products, really good service!!! If you are a weed lover... GO AN VISIT FRIENDLY STRANGER!!!!

I've used the Friendly Stranger as my go to for quality service and products for many years. I was having some throat and coughing issues and am using a vaporizer I bought from them. So I called - and the woman I spoke with was instantly knowledgeable about my vaporizer even when I didn't know which one it was and then told me how to use it to be more gentle and get better results. No upsell, just quality, informed service. As I'm in my 60's, I highly appreciate the advice that will protect my health! They are my go to experts! Thanks Friendly Stranger!!!

These guys are the best! When you first walk in, you will be greeted by friendly strangers. By the time you leave, you'll have made some new friends! Staff are extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and relaxed. They have an amazing array of products; you'll have difficulty finding something that fits your needs and budget here, as they have everything and anything from high end items, along with those that won't break the bank. Compared to other head shops, Friendly Stranger has competitive prices on the same prices you'd find elsewhere. In my opinion, there's no reason to go to any other shop in Toronto: Friendly Stranger is the place to be!
