I grew up in Santa Cruz and have lived from Sacramento to L.A. The service I got today was the best I've had in any dispensary I've been to. The budtender who helped me (wish i got his name), was the most knowledgeable and personable that I've seen in the past 10 years. Every suggestion he made I bought. Almost spent $300, that's how good he was. I'll be having a GREAT birthday this weekend because of him. Thanks for being awesome! I'll be back here for sure the next time I'm in town.

I went into the shop for NY sour D and was stoked to find out it was on sale. Then upon getting back to the car I realize they gave me Gelato 45 🤔 go back and Have to wait in line again, then when I get in again I was told they stocked it wrong admitting to giving me the wrong strain but that all sales are Final. I even asked if I could have a pre-roll for having to wait in line and was told tough luck. Unfortunately for being a good shop I wouldn’t go again.

It’s Saturday mid day and they have one employee. You need to wait in line to be checked in which takes a long time for some reason. Then that same person let’s you come in and get your stuff after she checks more people in and you wait more than a half hour. Save the time of your day! I guarantee you you could hit up every dispensary in Santa Cruz before you were served at this place.

Went here with my husband, we both noticed the 2 ladies working were almost naked, see thru shirts no bra and shorts that had there butt hanging out, very unprofessional. There penny cookies tasted super old, hence reason why they were a penny. And when asked about special offers we got " we sell little buds".....um....no. my husband and I have been going to medical/recreational stores for a while and this one I will NOT go back to. Very unprofessional people working. The security guard was cool, very professional, properly dressed, awesome manners.

OVERPRICED. Bring Cash. They have a rip-off ATM machine that charges 20%. While I don't smoke, this place is good for gifts for your beloved hippie stoner. I'm not a sophisticated purchaser, so I'm "out" about my ignorance, but 1 joint for a friend (who has a card) was $10-$15. I left thinking pot smokers are paying way too much. I think legalization is good for our local economy & for my friends who are suffering from cancer, but honey, it ain't cheap & maybe dinner would have been a better gift:)

It used to be one of my favorites but all of their best deals pretty much evaporated. Their best deal on flower are the foil pouches on the right side. Often these are "budlets" but not lacking in potency or taste. A half oz will usually be between $75 and $85. (There were deals at about half that price but they seemed to evaporate with legalization. Grams and larger come in glass jars. Remember to recycle your packaging.Update: late March 2019 this has unfortunately become one of those places where the owner thinks s/he is a lawyer and "interprets" the law in the most expansive way possible. Imagine someone never exceeding 55 mph regardless of traffic or weather conditions. That's this store. Prices are high and inventory low. Any question you have regarding availability, return policies etc. and the clerks will blame it on the law whether applicable or not. A very uptight vibe here

Can not shop where they don’t stand behind their products. I became a customer when I moved to Santa Cruz 5 years ago. So disappointed. Everything was great until I tried the Select vape pens. I had to return several pens that the batteries did not work. One of the employees told me that Select brand stands behind their product, she said bring them back, they will replace them. When I did, the manager said no, that this happens sometimes and that they won’t replace them. So in conclusion I will not shop there again.Stand behind your products or don’t sell them.

I had one bad experience with one of the guys there (total douche bag horrible attitude) but anyway.... I talked to the manager forgot her name.. ( beautiful red head ) she was so caring and sweet! She went way out of her way to make sure I was welcomed and WELL taken care of me ... She rocks and that is the reason I will go back because of her

I Placed my order online I ordered a quarter of some flower and a pack of seeds(6). I get a confirmation that my order is ready for pick up so I make the half hour drive up to Santa Cruz. When I arrive my order wasn’t what I had ordered. My online order total came to 120 and when I show up it’s only 92 bucks so I thought maybe I was getting a discount or something... so I took off I’m driving down the road open the container they gave me and there’s only an eighth in there . So all in all I paid 92 bucks for an 1/8th and 6 seeds. and I see the tax was almost $30 , what a ripoff...

I have been to a variety of dispensaries ranging from orange county, san francisco, and many in between. CannaCruz has without a doubt the most helpful and comforting staff. The woman who helped me was so very knowledgeable and despite them being busy she was in no way rushing to get us to decide and pay. It was helpful and informative and if I lived in the area I would make this my regular dispensary in a heart beat!
