I have to admit, after I ordered and when it came I was worried that it wouldn't be good, but the meals are absolutely delicious! I ordered the keto, and everything I've had so far has been very, very good, some better than that! My only complaints are that you sent the same quiche for every breakfast and while it's delicious, it's tiresome. Also, I will look forward to your website being more user friendly so I can change plans, choose meals. It's hard to get someone on the phone as I've been trying to alter my order for this week and can't seem to get through. Work all that out and I will be delighted!

UPDATE: Since I last this review, Lizzie from Fresh N Lean got in touch me several times to address my concerns. She thoroughly explained the actions that the company’s leadership had taken to identify the root cause of the issues in my food and to make sure they don’t occur again. She also explained the actions they are taking to further train their customer service team, chefs, and quality control teams. She ALSO offered me a week of free meals!! All in all, it was clear that the company took my concerns very seriously, and went above and beyond to make sure I’m satisfied. I want to thank Lizzy again, and given these issues are resolved, I’d consider going back to Fresh N Lean for my future meal prep needs.Lack of quality of control (food came in raw):I order 14 meals over two weeks, 3 came raw/uncooked. All meals that had a whole chicken breast/thigh as the main protein source, were completely raw and inedible. I tossed the first one, and as I kept experiencing this on subsequent chicken-based meals, I had to actually fry the chicken for 15 minutes before I could eat them.Poor customer service and lack of accountability:I told them about this issue and my safety concerns that uncooked chicken causes food poisoning per CDC. I also asked about their quality control process. They did not reply. Followed up a week later; they finally responded by only saying it "seems like my feedback was sent to their team." That's it! No apology or at least an acknowledgement of the issue and that they sent me 3 raw meals, and no explanation of their quality control process.

Hello all, This is my stand on the fresh n lean experience. From the start everything was layed out on the website nicely and easy to navigate. I opted to go for the set of 10 meals for the week. I feel like the quality of food is well worth the price. When your order is being made and shipped you get an email notification which I appreciate. Another plus for me is the delivery packaging, the meals come neatly placed in a styrofoam container with four ice packs all packed in a cardboard box. I have used other meal prep companies and so far this is the best overall. So if you want to know why I only gave it 4 instead of 5 stars it’s because the vacuum seal of the meals which is of course a plus for the freshness, is hard to come off. You have to put in a bit of work to get it off but that’s definitely not a deal breaker just a heads up. Overall I’m am very happy and will continue to be a customer Thank you

The selection is minimal, the only two items I liked where the steak and potatoes and the one with the meat pattie. You buy it once and of course they get you that second week. I told them to stop and Brian confirmed my account was deactivated and of course they got me for another week. I hate how they just take the liberty to take your money. Can you guys stop please.

My wife and I decided to order weekly deliveries of Fresh N' Lean leading up to delivery of our first baby. The meals have been incredible and they're so easy to make. 3 minutes in the microwave and you're ready to go. It's unbelievable.Meanwhile, their customer service is unmatched. Lizzie is our personal liason - she's in my contacts list. I can just call her and ask questions, make updates, or just have an exchange via direct email. She's awesome!The ease of preparation, the quality of food, and the personal touch of this service far exceeded my expectations. In the midst of this pandemic, it's a vital resource in our home. I cannot recommend this enough.(Thanks Lizzie!)

I traveled for 1 week to Los Angeles and ordered vegan mealpreps for the week I was there. I did not realize until I was charged again that I ordered a recurring plan. I explained to customer service that I did not live there and to asked them to cancel the order since I physically could not be there to receive it.They put blame on me for ordering a recurring plan, were unwilling to work with me, and delivered it anyway even though the food would go to waste. They also never responded to my last email. Carlos A. was extremely unprofessional and rude.Also, the vegan meals were all some version of a stir fry, lacked variety, and were extremely bland.UPDATE: I spoke with Lizzie and she addressed my concerns and refunded me. I am happier with their service after speaking with her and changing my rating to 3 stars.

I've tried some other meal services that taste plastic or salty. The meals from Fresh n' Lean taste like real food. You definitely need to like lentils, quinoa, and beans if you're doing the vegan plan, but they get the textures and flavors the same as if you were home-cooking meals using those ingredients; it's what I'd prepare if I had more time. Also, unlike other meal services, the portions are really satisfying. I feel nourished by them.

I have a very busy schedule so I am unable to cook and I’m not doing fast food. Fresh n Lean provides not just a healthy option for me but it takes less than 3 minutes to heat up. I order 10 a week for lunch and dinner. Have yet to have one meal I did not enjoy. I am pleasantly surprised by that. If I had one criticism it would be the packaged meal can be very hard to open at times. If they could somehow make them easier to open it would be great. Maybe a little extra plastic hanging off the edge. Aside from that I will continue to look forward to my Friday shipping.

I've enjoyed all of the meals that I've had, so far the breakfasts are my favorite and the oatmeal keeps me full all day. It's super nice to have a healthy option that is also easy, everything is already done for you and is great reheated on the stove. I definitely recommended reheating on the stove or in the oven for the best result. My experience with customer service has all been positive, they definitely go out of their way for their customers and it doesn't have the call center feel some places have.

The meals were great but there was a major problem with the service: they could not deliver their product. By the end of my experience with Fresh n' Lean I had been billed four times yet only once did I actually receive the meals I had ordered. Once I received the wrong meals and the other two times the meals were four days late or simply never arrived. Hopefully they can get the logistics figured out!Update: working with their Support team through my experience was always great and after this review I was contacted by Fresh n' Lean. They wanted to understand my experience and see how they could make it right. They sent me a free box of meals! Which did arrive on time. Sounds like originally I just got unlucky with some regional vendor shipping issues.
