Dr. Kiser and her team are the best! everyone is friendly, supportive, and positive. She gives her full attention to each patient at each visit, you never feel you are being rushed along so she can get to the next patient. I always feel I understand exactly my progress and her approach to improving my wellness! I came several times a week at first to mitigate my lower back pain and get things back into healthy alignment. Along with continuing my yoga practice, being mindful of my posture, and visiting for adjustments about every other week, I'm feeling in top shape!

I have been to yoga, acupuncture, and other chiropractors for my lower and upper back pain as well as my shoulders. Each appointment I’ve had in the past has provided quick relief but never fixed the underlying issues. Walking into University Chiropractic and Wellness was the right move. They are committed to long term results opposed to a quick fix. I am excited to finally fix the foundational issues for a permanent result.

University Chiro provides treatment of the highest quality. Dr. Kiser and her staff are incredibly friendly, professional, and responsive to the needs of their patients. My family has been going to this office for years, and we have always found that based on their diagnosis, the doctors at University Chiro know which treatment to apply to produce the best results. We have benefited from their skilled adjustments.

Was over in downtown mountain view university Chiropractic had a stand. They had an offer $385 value alligment, xrays and an assessment for only $35 dollars. I signed up but sadly it was just a hook. Once I go to the office, I got x rays and a 1 on 1 with the chiropractor. Then after they wanted to schedule a visit as additional cost. They wanted to study results. So no alligment as they promised. Reminded me of mechanic shops deal hooks.

University Chiropractic and Wellness is maintained by a very friendly and professional staff in a convenient downtown Palo Alto location. The staff greet you and make you feel most welcomed. An efficient card swipe checks the patient in. From there, the patient does easy to perform exercises to loosen the neck and spine for easy adjustment by one of the chiropractors. After a swift adjustment, the patient walks for a few minutes with a weighted head piece to help the adjustment hold for better posture. Family members and friends are all patients and have had varying degrees of improvement. Like all good things, it takes time.

Feedback:

I went in for a consultation a while ago for nerve and muscle pain. The prognosis, after one examination and an xray the "Dr." concluded that my issues were due to the dreaded "silent killer" called nerve subluxation. She even showed me how that works by twisting a small model of a spine, demonstrating in plain view how the nerve gets pinched off. Well, afterwards I looked into this so-called disorder as I was convinced that the body was better designed to protect these vital nerves and pathways. The list of maladies she associated to subluxation included nearly every fatal disfunction in the human kingdom. Her conjecture that vital organ degradation was occurring silently, without symptoms and that pain was the final sensation the nerve bundle would yield. So I figured there must be tons of evidence to back up her claims. Body imaging technologies such as an MRI would show exactly what she was talking about. There is no such evidence, anywhere, at all. Citing spinal nerve compression as a cause of declining or degenerative organ system heath and function is ridiculous and a grossly incorrect. Chiropractors who diagnose and treat people from this basis of nonsense should be charged with malpractice and be banned from treating people. I was given a 20 day program at around $6000 to correct my "condition" and probably would have been asked to join for the rest of my life. What an expensive circus act they've created there. Regarding what was causing my back issue, it was directly due to overly tight muscles and remedied after ONE session with deep tissue massage. 3 years later, I am still in perfectly loose and pain-free condition. If I could leave zero stars, I would.

I fractured my back the end of January this year, I am so much better but still need to wear a brace. I have been going to Dr. Kiser for the last 3 weeks and cannot believe how much the pain has improved. All the people at University Chiropractic are very knowledgeable and it is obvious they care about their patients. They take an x-ray and explain what is going on in your back and how they can help you, and if they can't, they will tell you. I am so impressed as I never have been to a chiropractor who is so detailed in explaining what is going on inside your body regarding your spine and nerves. I am so thankful that I found them.

The people are very friendly and extremely knowledgeable! They listen to the needs of the individual on any given day and address the concerns brought to their attention. The ability to pair adjustments with massage therapy is fantastic! I was a bit frustrated when asked to come in three times a week since I travel from the San Bruno area to get there (which is not exactly convenient during rush hour) but the staff worked with me to come in only twice a week. I feel the staff at University Chiropractic is a pleasure to work with!

Feedback:

I have had a very positive experience with University Chiropractic. The staff and doctors are friendly, usually on time, and know their stuff. I came to the office because of hip and upper back pain and tension, and those problems have decreased significantly in 6 weeks of adjustments 2 or 3 times per week. While each appointment *can* be very short in duration, chiropractic care requires a commitment of consistency; the practitioners have to adjust you every few days at first. After some progress, the number of appointments tapers off. With University Chiropractic as a provider in my insurance plan, each visit has been relatively cheap. I really feel that University Chiropractic has done way more good for my body than massage and pain relievers *alone* ever could.

Feedback:

University Chiropractic in Palo Alto does a great job overall. As a patient I am responsible for my care by asking questions and addressing concerns i have. I find everyone in the office friendly, professional and accomodating. If you have special needs just ask, I'll bet they will do anything they can to help. Medical offices are challanged by our busy schedules and they work hard to accomodate my needs. My goal is to avoid more cortisone injections and I am happy to say I've been able to for sometime now because of my visits here! My body is a wreck and it is something I have to learn to manage overall for the rest of my life. I feel this is some of the best non-invasive care I can do for myself.
