I have enjoyed my past few visits to Conscious Community Co-op. Since I live out of town and hadn't visited the store in a while, I was excited about stopping in today as we were traveling close by! However, today with Edmond's Phase III reopening after Covid-19 pandemic rules in place, I was sad to witness only 10% of employees and customers combined wearing masks. The store was not encouraging safe social distancing practices. I was planning to make a purchase but found it impossible to practice safe social distancing at the check out line. There were no 6 feet tape marks on the floor so I estimated what I felt was a safe distance to stand behind the people in line. Unfortunately, other customers didn't realize that I was waiting in line and continued to cut in front of me. I was frustrated and uncomfortable. I made the decision to return the item to the shelf. My husband and I left the store empty handed. Very disappointed!

Been going to this place for a while now, every time I purchased something I always had to correct the cashier on the prices... the last 5-6 times I have gone I have been overcharged. Went to the restaurant next door today and my parents got a shrimp cocktail, the shrimp were not clean... had feces still in the flesh. Love supporting locally owned businesses but the store is completely disorganised and always being overcharged every single time I go was the last straw for me unfortunately. This place has a lot of potential but having children run the cash wrap desk is probably not the best idea if they keep overcharging customers. My grandfather sells tomato plants here which drew me into visiting... but sadly I will not be coming back. Can’t recommend this place.

I'm disappointed that none of the words in the name of this business are being demonstrated in their operations during such a tragic time in our country and in our state. The previous reviewer noted the same disregard for public health that I recently saw. Absolutely zero precautions recommended by our own state governor were being practiced when I drove by recently. I didn't even bother stopping.I've frequented this co-op for years and unfortunately my conscience will no longer allow me to support them. They don't seem to be "Conscious" of the effect their actions have on the community. I recently saw an explanation for the lack of concern for the safety of their patrons on Facebook. The owner was distressed at complaints she'd received about no protective gear whatsoever, no distancing, and no limits to the number of people. Her reasons were "rugged individualism" and "liberty" and other words she doesn't seem to really understand. She also recommended her customers who didn't like it should keep their opinions to themselves, ironically telling them to keep their speech to themselves while she displayed her disregard for the safety of others freely. The words "freedom" and "liberty" and "Constitution" and other lofty sounding words have been so abused lately they don't seem to have much meaning. She has the freedom to sneeze on people, to cough on others while she has a fever and obvious signs of the flu, or just to be a jerk in general, but in this society we try to be considerate of others and do simple things to show our concern for their safety and our respect for the lives of others. And as a professed Christian, I wonder if she thinks that exposing her community with no attempt to slow it down is what she thinks Jesus would do. I'm pretty sure Jesus would cover his mouth when he sneezes, stay home from work when he has the flu, and put a mask on and keep his distance if there was any chance he had a disease that currently has a 6% mortality rate in this state and can be spread for days while showing absolutely no symptoms or signs of infection. She also says we have personal responsibility for our own health. Since I don't have a HazMat suit, and wouldn't want to wear one in the summer anyway, my personal health and safety will be nowhere near the CCC for my remaining days on this Earth. I hope she realizes that as a fellow human, fellow American, and fellow Christian she also has a responsibility to her community to help keep others healthy and safe.Edit: Just so this is never lost to time -- "Response from the owner17 hours agoThe co-op hasn't even been open a year. So therefore, caught in your own lies. Troll on sir. Bye, bye"THAT was your take away? Not that you should care about others or act according to the faith you claim to have or you have a responsibility not just to your own health but to the health of your community? I don't think Jesus would have gotten angry and called me a liar.Apparently an old man lost track of time. I could have sworn this co-op opened not long after the Oklahoma Food Co-op went under (that feels like ages but apparently only the end of 2018...time flies). Maybe that's just when I started looking for an alternative. Too bad this owner is so busy feeling attacked by the facts of our time that she has no concern for her customers or her community. I feel sorry for people like this. Now I believe it's my responsibility to contact producers and make sure they're aware of who they're doing business with. I really miss the Oklahoma Food Co-op -- they actually cared about people and had a mission to improve their community. They're exactly the kind of operation we need right now.

I started coming shortly after they 1st opened. So happy with how much they have changed, expanded, and never quit helping others. They are supplying fresh, quality, and healthy supplies. I like getting my spring herbs and mosquitoe repellent plants from here. Was introduced to tasty gluten free treats and pies. I love supporting small businesses with great intentions. They are a voice for helping other small businesses too.

I have syrup on order from the coop. I called yesterday to make sure I could get curbside service. I was assured I could and I’m sure I still could have but when I got there this morning to pick up, there were so many people all over the place Many coming and going. No one had on masks or gloves. A few customers had gear on but I saw the guys making the raised beds standing so close they were almost touching..no protection. I saw people carrying flats and what looked like helping customers with NO protection. In light of the fact.. that 11 more people died in Oklahoma yesterday and we have not peaked.. our new peak time of death has now been extended until the end of the month by the CDC, tell me how this is being a conscious steward of our community? I sat there observing and sadly left. I felt a sense of betrayal even and will not help support your cause if you’re not going to support the health and well being of others in these times when there is a clear and present danger to so many.

I had heard so many positive things about this place so I was really looking forward to coming here. Staff is easy going, friendly, and helpful. They offer a variety of local milk products, goat products, and kefir products. Local kombucha guy (Jared's Kombucha). Lots of produce from several vendors. Many overpriced, some reasonable for what was offered. Grass fed beef. Local eggs. Local soap, coffee and other crafty items. Large variety of rented stalls selling local crafts. They have a leather guy who is awesome and so nice. Overall most of there vendors are overpriced and some are reasonable, you just have to find them. Outside there are chicken coops, green houses, sheds, plants, etc for sale. Extra large pumpkin for $15, ummm no thank you. There is a yoga studio connected next door. I will be back for unique items, but not as a regular. I would definately recommend for people to check it out though.

Love to visit Conscious Community Co-op! Wide selection of locally produced quality produce, meats, and dairy. Several days a week they have locally baked bread, pies and more. Recently they gotten Root beer kefir and Kombucha on tap. I honestly cannot list all the products that they have. The have incredible local artists that sell leather works, botanical prints, beeswax candles, quilts, jewelry, prints, pottery and more. Every time I go I find something else I cannot live without. My favorite place to go!
