Today my neighbor called Fairfield PD, he had an RV that has been parked on the street for the last 5 weeks. The police officer said since we didn't have a Home Owner Association that he could not enforce the CC&R. So the violator is not at fault!!!! I have been trying to get him to move the RV, but he call me a fu..ing bit.. for trying to speak with him. The police showed up at my home tonight and said I was wrong. What does having Codes do when the Police refuse to enforce them!!They sided with him he does everything to activate the neighb

Over all a very comfortable experience, the officers were firm but fair, the police cruser had an irresponsible amount of leg room in the back, the hand cuffs we're tight like the controlling grip of an abusive boyfriend, they offer on scene chiropractor services!!! One gentleman put his knee in the back of my neck while I was on the ground face down and worked out all the kinks I've had in my neck for years!!!Once I was taken back to the station I was given amazing ameneties. I was given my own room and board with amazingly interesting neighbors, I was given a bed and my own personal bathroom and I got free food.Over all an amazing experience, 10 out of 10 would get arrested again
Feedback:
Amending an old review after Fairfield PD seems to have made some changes and listened to citizens' concerns.Their rookie patrol officers need further training about interacting with the public, follow-up and not kissing off reports, but their homeless intervention team (HIT) is competent, passionate, and communicative. They truly seem to do their best to balance the needs of the homeless population with the safety of the public. I am impressed by their compassion and data-driven approach to crime, mental illness, and homelessness. It truly is sad that we lack the resources available to help people with mental illnesses and addiction, and it is unfortunate that this burden falls heavily on law enforcement. However, I feel very confident that Fairfield PD is doing their best to address a complicated issue. I stand corrected on my initial impressions of poorly trained patrol officers as representative of the entire department.

Let's help local businesses out with the heavy homeless population problem by running them out away from stores and be cleaning up the streets yay we can be cops my badge is shiny Actually more like you pushed them all into the neighborhoods to hide from y'all and in the end made it worse so much worse for the public and to our communities thanks guys New homeless camps all over the city and crime follows
Feedback:
Worst Police Department in the country. Don't expect them to answer a call for help and if you are a battered woman they will tell you that it is your fault. I have contacted the feds with regard to their unprofessional bordering on criminal behavior. Can't wait to move out of this city. Crime is getting out of control seems like a shooting almost every night lately.
Feedback:
Absolutely terrible. They are completely useless and bring shame upon those who DESERVE to wear the badges and uniforms. Whenever I need help from local law enforcement from fairfield, I am met with failure and disappointment. I have been attacked by dogs, and harassed multiple occasions. When contacting an officer, they act like they care and assure they handle it. Never return phone calls, never got police reports, nothing in assistance.Don't ever trust the police here, and ALWAYS record what they say to you, write to you, and do to you. ALWAYS HAVE EVIDENCE WHEN DEALING WITH THESE PEOPLE.
Feedback:
I had the misfortune to live in Fairfield for a number of years. I got assaulted by Officer Jimmy Bondoc in 3 occasions. I reported this misconduct to the PD and the last time I received an answer from the Chief of the Standards Unit, amazingly, this incompetent sergeant could not follow the PD rules he was supposed to enforce. Everything was recorded in my private surveillance cameras and the DA had the choice to either have those clips on youtube next day or to put Bondoc in proper place. She chose the second. But Bondoc still wears a badge and continues with his criminal behavior unchecked. Things improved a bit after Don DuBain left the DA Office, but not too much. I left Solano County just in case.
Feedback:
It is a wonderful day, Tuesday 1/31/17 15:00, then my bay get worse because my experience with the Fairfield Police Department was the worst! I just came down to get an infraction checked off so I can go to the court and get a ticket paid off. The dispatcher was helpful but not the PO's. When the dispatcher qued the infraction to get it checked off by an officer she told me it would not take long. But boy was she wrong lol, it took a couple hours just to get something checked off, which would have took only like two minutes or less! It took two hours just for ONE OFFICER to come, out of who knows how many several officers. So if you are coming to get something checked off by an officer, be prepared to wait a long while !
Feedback:
My experience with the police was that they were very polite, but terrible on what services they offer. Six or seven people called them to report an active break in of an empty house; alcohol drugs lots of strong young men. It took about an hour for them to do a quick drive by and find nothing. Next day, several neighbors called in that there was an enormous pitbull (nothing wrong with pitbulls...just loose ones) running through yards chasing cats, kittens, etc. They said they have no available officers to pick up a dog from the back yard where it was trapped. I offered to meet them at animal control, but apparently they didn't have the 10 minutes to spare to stick the dog inside. Funny. I haven't heard a single siren all day. My cat is missing. What I really feel like doing is driving to the police station opening the door and letting this pitbull inside. Then sit and watch how long it takes for an officer to respond.
