Feedback:
Simon at All Aspects was so helpful when booking his company. The food was delicious and many guests indicated it was some of the best food they've had at a wedding! However, Simon stopped responding to us about 4 weeks prior to the wedding, so when we had guests no longer able to come, we couldn't change the numbers (despite it being 3 weeks prior to event), so we were stuck paying for those unused plates and did not get the food boxed or anything. Our last communication with him was 4 weeks prior to the event and we were informed at that time that the bartender would arrive with NOTHING. We had to provide shakers, ice buckets, jiggers, cups, etc. What bartender/caterer doesn't have their own serving materials?! The bartender was awful! Despite us giving him a recipe card for our specialty cocktail, he made them all wrong and they tasted terrible. He also did not understand any of the craft wines and beers as he didn't even know the grapes used in the wine (it said on the bottle) or what types of beers they were (again, look at the can). When I FINALLY was able to get to the bar, he was serving people that got to the bar after me, before me. I wanted to remind him that I was paying him for the night and I'm the bride. So needless to say I just walked away because I needed to get back to greeting everyone and hosting and did not have a single drink all night at my wedding. He also left without cleaning anything. My husband and I were left to bartend the rest of the reception and clean up after him.
