I contacted Dedicated Domestics to hire a full time nanny (my first) after my second daughter was born. I had also contacted another local agency just to make sure I interviewed enough candidates since I was not sure how many I would meet. I ended up hiring from Dedicated Domestics and have to say how happy I am that I did. I worked with Eloisa, who also happens to be the owner, and was very satisfied with the service. She was very thorough in explaining the process and fees but also with just talking everything through with me. I ended up hiring the 2nd nanny I met but I never felt pressured to make a rash decision. She made sure I interviewed enough candidates so that I was 100% comfortable. The attention that is put into their screening and listening to my needs was shown in the caliber of the nannies I met. They were far superior to the nannies I interviewed from the other agency and the few I found online. Eloisa took care of making sure the nanny was up to date on her CPR and even arranged for her to get the whooping cough vaccine and flu shots our pediatrician suggested. Another thing that I loved was that most of the nannies I met with through DD were already signed up with Trustline, which I learned about from Eloisa. The other service never even brought it up. Basically, it was overall a very good experience considering I was really not sure what to expect and had mixed feelings about even hiring (mother’s guilt). Our nanny, Brianna, is working out fabulously and feels like another member of our family. I would definitely recommend calling them especially if it is your first time hiring help.
