I get 90% of my groceries from TJs, I’m there once a week to purchase groceries. I like the smaller store feel and they always have fresh products. Ive been shopping at the La Mesa TJs for over 6 years now and up until about a year ago, all staff were very friendly and helpful. Not sure why the decline, maybe management change, but I miss the friendly feel of my neighborhood TJs!!

Trader Joe's is an exceptional store. While there is no lack of upscale delicious well made items they carry some unique quality items that stretch a budget. The canned corn is delicious, crunchy, and sweet unlike any other, a whole bag.of pot stickers is like 3$, amazing fresh tamales, and house branded liquor better than many name brands. So many great food items set apart from the big chains.

I really enjoy the layout of this store as well as their products. What I don't like is the service I seem to get most of the time. It seems I don't fit the demographics for the store therefore don't receive stellar customer service. (you can figure it out I think) other than that, products are great I've never had an issue with anything I've purchased. The only negative is there is never enough parking.

Probably the most neighborhood friendly market you will ever experience! You have a culinary selection on a bologna wallet. Been shopping Trader's since I lived on the Westside, (Santa Monica round back of the Santa Monica Airport location) since I was in my very early 20's, I am now 65. I know excellent food at a reasonable price. When I shop with say, $100 at commercial supermarket chains, I am lucky if I come out with 2 bags. At Trader's I come out with exquisite food and a cartfull.

This store has so much variety of foods. It has food from around the world. It sells differant cheeses you don't normally find anywhere else. They sell healthy foods like kale and cauliflower pizza crust. Also went in there and it was so crowded with people everywhere you went in the store was there was someone looking at some thing. But when you went to check out there was a open cashier. So no wait at all.. Very speedy service. I would go there again,especially if I wanted something interesting and unique.

Trader Joe's needs a 10 items or less cash register during lunch hours. Other than that, I love Trader Joe's! The sample coffee and food is worth a try. I asked a worker at the food sample place if she had ever tried the olive tapenade I wasn't sure about and she was very nice and offered to open it so I could sample. She did and it was great so I purchased olive tapenade.

My husband and I I do most of my shopping at Trader Joe's. I feel the prices are lower than the chain grocery stores for most food. The store is pretty with ocean paintings on the wall .but the Isles are a little narrow and can get crowded. Trader Joe's has a huge variety of all kinds of food from bagged carrots ,Gourmet Foods, meals already prepared and a large selection of wine. All of the employees are always very friendly and helpful and will take you right to the item you're looking for. They also have a large selection of flowers at a fair price. And they have a lot more than I have it named. I would definitely recommend it!

We go here for stuff that only Trader Joe's has. Awesome frozen foods. Great wine selection. Awesome people. The fresh flowers always stay alive for a long time. The frozen mac and cheese is insane as well as the frozen black bean taquitos. They wont have everything a traditional grocery store has but they also have a lot of great stuff that you wont find at a grocery store. Parking at this location is normally pretty convenient. If there isnt any in front of the store there is more around the side by the nursery.

Super friendly employees and great food at great prices. I love shopping here.I usually always get some iced coffee because it's chilled and easy to drink in the car on the ride home.And don't forget the Crunchy Mochi to snack on while watching TV.

The reason I continue to shop here is because organic food prices at Trader Joe's are better than Whole Foods in the Collection. I suggested to mgr they should open a Trader Joe's in the Collection because there's none of TJs in Oxnard but two in Ventura. Yet they're in T.O., Camarillo, S.B. and Oxnard has the highest population in VC. Only reasonable price place in Oxnard for organic food is Costco and maybe that's the reason TJ is not interested in a store in Oxnard. I moved here in 1980 and never understood why TJ doesn't build a store in Oxnard.
