This sandwich was one of the best sandwiches I've have had in a long time. The meat was cooked perfectly and the gentleman behind the counter fixed it to perfection. The meal was at a reasonable cost considering what I had purchased. The restaurant is very clean and bathroom was also kept in good order. You can enjoy your order there at the restaurant or do like I do and take it home. One things to mention, they have this card index, where you just pick your sandwiches toppings from, it saves you from having to shout over the display a yes or no to every toppings on display or repeat your choices 20 times to the person that can't remember. I just pointed to my topping pick and I was done. Here are some pictures of the restaurant. I recommend this restaurant, friendly service, great sandwich and good fair prices. You can count on me being a loyal customer. As a matter of fact I've been enjoying your restaurant for a good long time now. I enjoy reviewing good places, that have good food. And thank-you for your kind words

This is one of the most tastiest subs I have had in some time... Even after sitting in my car for about an hour, the brisket was juice as hell, yet the bread was left unchanged. Their Two Alarm chili was also great. However, I am starting to question the order in which I ate it as I am now at the beach stairing at a porta-potty . . . But that isn't Firehouse's fault...

If you want to overpay, wait a long time, get marginal lunch from a place that cross contaminates (mixes chicken, Turkey, beef on the same knives and cutting boards), this is your place. The kitchen is also pretty dirty. There are memos about what's not allowed for payment. Pretty blah overall. If you write a review, they will give you a boilerplate response and that's it.

Food was good. I did see a help wanted sign on the door as I walked in. I only get a 30 min lunch. Took them 25 minutes to get my sandwich ready. Which then made me late back to work and late clocking out at the end if the day. I can appreciate they are needing help. I'll def give them another chance but will either order online or over the phone WAY before I need it. It was a little pricey for a sandwich combo? But the food was good. Not happy about being late for lunch (I work less than 5 min away from the shop).

Firehouse Subs is a great combination of fresh (and plentiful amounts) of sub ingredients with not having to be asked about every single "possible" ingredient like subway. Wonderful tastes. It would be 5 stars if they could keep trained staff longer. Seems like someone its always being trained. They also have one of those fantastic multi-drink dispensers.

I went in the opening week, hpoing to find a new good place to eat that isn't tofu or crab/seafood in the Mira Mesa area. Unfortunately, the sandwich was flat, small for the price, he customer service was not fantastic (considering it was a brand new location) and the taste was just ok. I waited another couople of months before trying it again. The experience was exactly the same and so was the taste/brerad. I'd rather go to a better chain store, if this is how all Firehouse Sub shops are.

Overly pricey worst sandwiches I have ever had sales staff didn't seem to be happy they gave the atmosphere as being blah stay away stay away stay away every time I go to Panda Express you have 20 people there or more you go to Firehouse Sub and you're lucky if you get two people sitting in the chair it's really that bad I don't see how they stay open Firehouse Sub needs to step up their menu and get people in there that really know how to make sandwiches you have prime location however your sandwiches suck and they're too overly pricey

Feedback:

The Sandwiches are super small and over priced. On top of it I took one bite out of the meatball, the sauce taste old and bitter. I asked to exchange for another sub, they were willing to do so as long as I paid an additional half of the new sub, on top of what I already paid. Of course I requested my money back. Angelo Soriano was rude. Also all of the tables were dirty. The place was empty. So I do not understand on how they can not keep up with wiping them down , when guest leave.

Soggy flavorless overpriced sandwiches. The manager tried to charge me extra because I asked for no ham on the ham&turkey sandwich - then tried to lecture me that they do not allow any customizations & I better learn for next time. There definitely will not be a next time. There are at least two other sandwich shops in walking distance. I suggest you go elsewhere.
