Talk about a one stop shop! This place can cater to anyone and everyone, from health conscious to just downright picky. Everyone in our group got something to eat and we all loved it. Prices are reasonable for California lol..Staff were nice and friendly, helpful and patient with my little ones. Line ups can take a bit around 1pm but definitely worth the wait. Highly recommended and will be back..

Health-focused, bright eatery with two levels. Haven’t had their breakfast yet, but I’ll go for lunch whenever I want a quick bite. There’s a ton of gluten-free/vegan/vegetarian options so it’s a good spot if you have food restrictions. I like getting the turkey wrap or the Thai dye, which is a tofu wrap. They come with a side salad and you can get food to-go or to eat there. Note that there are more tables upstairs. There’s kombucha which I like a lot, as well as really fresh lemonades. You order at the counter and then grab a number. The waiters will find you if you ordered to eat there. There are restrooms available on the second floor (you need to take the stairs up, no elevator). There’s a city parking garage directly across that’ll give the first 90 min for free. They do take credit card and there’s no free WiFi. Overall it’s a really cute spot to have some healthy food.

Probably my favorite restaurant ever! I can’t even choose a favorite item on the menu because everything is equally delicious! In my 3 day stay in Santa Monica, I visited Flower Child 3 times because it’s just that good! Great gluten free and healthy options for both their breakfast and lunch/dinner menu! Great environment and even better food.

I really think this place is just okay. It is like a place mixed of Lemonade and TrueFoods Kitchen. They have some bowls that are exactly the same ingredients as TrueFoods. But then you can compare, and find that TrueFoods taste better.If you want to beat the crowd, this place is better. And with self service, people tend to stay upstairs and work on their computers. If you are looking for this style, this place is also an option.Food wise, it is good. And if I want something healthy and in a hurry and happen to be in this area, I will probably come here.

The best healthy food in LA hands down! I was craving something fresh, clean and actually tasty when on holiday and Flower Child answered my prayers. Love the menu, easy to navigate for vegans and people with gluten and dairy intolerances. You can also modify some dishes to make them your own. Staff were lovely too. If you’re thinking about popping in for a meal don’t hesitate just go!

Points for having vegan dishes. Only somewhat organic, dirty dozen etcBut I asked about the corn starch in the chocolate mousse and it was not organic 😔The manger said what a lot of restaurants say "organic when possible"But it's ALWAYS possible to be fully organicMy dish was quite small for $12I saw someone else get the same dish and their portion definitely looked bigger.It's on my for not saying anything

This place was exactly what I wanted it to be. Food-My mom had the Madras Bowl with chicken and she loved the lively flavor in the dish. I had the chicken entree with roasted brussel sprouts and sesame sweet potatoes. Mines was season and cooked perfect. It reminded me of the meals I cook for myself when I am home. I also had the gluten-free pumpkin muffin. It was hecka (Oakland Term) good and moist!Environment- Clean, spacious, and I love the pay first and seat yourself process. You can sit downstairs, upstairs, or outside. People- Very friendly employees and the customers were all very down to earth yet very stylish.

We had a great experience at this restaurant! The food was both fresh and flavorful. The staff was so incredibly friendly! After taking photos of the adorable bohemian cheery decor I noticed the managers were learning about new menu items. I asked to take photos and they quickly encouraged me to. Then they offered a sample as well. We left on cloud 9- enjoying the food, hospitality and atmosphere!

I was a fan of this place for a while since living nearby. Great vibe and good healthy food in even healthier portions. It gets really busy now around lunch time or weekends. Over time, However, I’ve noticed the quality go down significantly (over/under cooked salmon or unevenly cooked green beans). This last experience will probably be the last of my visits in a good while. Photo included. My sautéed spinach was so unevenly cooked that half looked raw and ready to party in a salad. My avocado was not ripe at all and literally ice cold!!! I ate my protein and left most of the sides. I did tell a female worker/manager monitoring dishes coming out of the kitchen and she did offer to make me a new plate. Kind of her but not the point I wanted to make - quality control and consistency is paramount! I hope they do improve and not lose more patrons. Maybe one star is harsh. But this is California and nobody messes with avocados! 🥑🥑 🥑 ❤️

If you want healthy and controlled portion size THIS IS THE PLACE. Love the ambience! Nice and bright with natural light. Lovely decor, very encouraging statement signs on the wall. Nice furniture. Food.. small, very small, portions. Mac and cheese-tasty. Brussels sprouts-tasty. Sweet potato pasta dish (that my nephew ordered) very good. I didn't care too much for my salad. It had a smokey flavor of some sort(even though I asked for no smoke almonds ) and way too much salad dressing for my liking. I ate it because I was hungry so it was tolerable. I added the salmon and I wish it would of been hotter (temperature) . As a matter of fact, all of our food was not as hot as we like. This is a two story establishment and we sat upstairs, where it is super roomy and nice. I will definitely go back.
