There is no transparency in this place. I don't think their scales are accurate. I weighed my plastics and cans at home and they gave me way off amount. I don't think I see SJ county seals on the 2 scales. They suppose to give you a copy of receipt what you have signed for. But they don't. Do yourself a favor if you really have to go to this place. Weigh your stuff first at home or if you don't have any choice insist to weigh first on their scale without their bucket to see your net weight. I hope city of Manteca investigate this matter soon.

I have to HONESTLY say that this Scrap Metal Yard is UN-like no other I have EVER seen before....Talk about PROFESSIONAL, , COURTEOUS, CLEAN., ORGANIZED, BEST PRICING.. I MUST SAY......and...OMIED IS NUMBER 1!!!!!You can never go wrong when you have a timely response and consideration to meet the wants and needs of those in the Recycling Bizzzzz!Thank you Fawad.... I'm having a problem with the weight of my cans and plastic bottles the guy came up with. I don't want to say anything negative about the business because I've been going there to recycle along time. The place is clean and they work quickly, helping me with filling the buckets if needed. I'll be calling the owner in the morning with my complain and hopefully have a good review. I did mention to the employee I thought I should have gotten allot more than I did. But I left the paper I wrote my weights totals at home. I'll f/u review tomorrowI returned to Go green Recycling a week later with my complaint about not receiving the correct about of money for my recycling last week. I weigh my bags before taking them in. My total was almost twice what I was credited on their scales.Omied Amo the new owner what the situation was. He kept referring to the length of time I waited before coming back. I had called twice and couldn't get in any sooner. Well to make my story shorter He gave me $20 that's about half of what was owed to me. I'm grateful that he did that, I guess . My mistake was to leave my list that had my weights written down on it at home. But I did tell him at the time that the amount was off. I really couldn't prove it because the other worker had already taken my cans/plastics away before I got my receipt. Make sure you know the weight of what your recycling is and pay attention to your receipt... Be smart when it comes to your money!! I learned my lesson! Here I go again...I took my recycling in, already weighed at home. I'm at the scale while the lady in front of me finishes her business. She had propane tank and some other items. Ok I did not see my cans on the scale. I had two containers of plastics by me, Omied told me to put the other bag of plastics into another container, I was going to add the last bag to one of the other containers, but did as he said to do. I hope I'm not confusing anyone reading this 🤔v By the time I got the container and put my plastics in and moved the container to the scales the lady in front of me got paid and left. I gave Omied my license and then he recognized my name since I posted on FB my review (ABOVE) of his business. Oops too late, my info was already printed out and handed to me.... Without any aluminum cans on the paper!!! I get my receipt and I'm looking at it.... None of my cans were included on the receipt!! Fortunately my cans were still near by and I brought it to Omieds (the owner) attention. "Hey!! You don't have my cans on here!!!! " I pointed to my containers and he said "what those are yours? That other lady said they were hers. I paid her for those cans!" I said "well they are not hers! They are mine! So someone is lying and it's not me!". He told me to give him my receipt and he couldn't believe what just happened and said he believed me and weighed my cans then he handed my new receipt with correct info on. Then he brings up my review I wrote and asked me to let people he corrected the error and gave me the $20 that I didn't get. About half of what I should have gotten. Then he's praising himself for paying me for the cans today even though he had already paid that other lady. How he lost money because she lied... On and on! He suggested I give him another review telling people about his good deed today. Wrote his name down and the name of the guy who cheated me the last time I was there, who supposedly no longer works there. Im pretty sure it was he that checked me out when I was shorted by more than half owed me ). I'll let you come to your own conclusion of what happened to me today. Was I going to be cheated again, hopefully not notice my total was incorrect? I never saw my cans on the scale! Not even when they were supposedly added to the lady in front of me. I wish I could have asked to see that ladies total before me. He was too busy praising himself and letting me know I should tell people on Face Book!! I've been here a few times now. Great service, fast service, and always picked up the phone! Good rates and they're the best I've found around this area. Friendly and helpful staff make it quick and easy. Bring it in and they will take care of the rest. I will be coming here many more times in the future when I need to! Recommended to all. Thanks

!!!ATTENTION!!! ANY 5 STAR REVIEWS MADE SINCE SEPTEMBER 2018 ARE FAKE, THIS IS A NEW OWNER WHO BOUGHT THE PLACE FROM THE OLD OWNER, AND BUYS FAKE GOOD REVIEWS. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!!! HE WILL SCAM YOU, FOR 5 BARRELS OF CANS HE WILL ONLY GIVE YOU 30$ WHEREAS ANY OTHER RECYCLING CENTER WILL GIVE AROUND 60$. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED SO YOU DON'T HAVE ANY EXCUSE WHEN YOU REALIZE THAT YOU WERE ABLE TO MAKE MORE MONEY OUT OF YOUR CANS.

They will always do something to try and rip you off.I filled 5 containers with aluminum cans equating to about 100 pounds including the containers, minus the containers it would be about 30 pounds of aluminum in total. With their rate at $1.70 per pound I should have received $51.00, but he tried giving me $35.00. Don't be afraid to confront him and take your cans back if he does this, by letting him get away with it he is just going to keep on doing it

Went today for first time. Very difficult to get someone to acknowledge you or answer questions. This place smelled so badly of urine everywhere my husband and I both almost vomited. Hit this place with a giant power washer please!And yes, what they give you in return for what you bring is the lowest I've experienced yet.
