The ice cream here is so nice and rich. They have a great menu, that offers great choices for any of your ice cream needs. They've got shakes, floats, and sundaes among so many other things.Their staff are super friendly, and it's fantastic to see a business involved in their community.

Mr Frostys---Best Old School Americana Ice Cream Shop in SD!Friendly, courteous staff! LARGE yummy portions! Still keeping their prices relatively low. Try their Amazing Sundays, Milkshakes and huge delicious homemade sandwiches.Wether you're on a date, with the family, baseball team, partying with friends or solo It's always a good time for Mr Frostys!!! There's a good reason why this family owned and operated Ice Cream Shop is one of the oldest businesses in PB. Thank you Mr. Frostys for doing what you do best!

I really like how much Mr Frostie does to community and community is giving back. This place is always busy, people lining up for the soft serve or sundae. Nice little corner to enjoy in summer heat. Parking may be tricky, but if you are patient enough to wait, people come and go quite fast. All my visitors who come to San Diego had the chance to enjoy Mr Frostie. And they never get disappointed.

This is an ICON in PB. If you don't go here you are missing the true Pacific Beach experience. All the other ice cream shops in PB are just wannabe's and transplants. Mr. Frostie is the ORIGINAL! The food is excellent too. One warning: Your taste buds will throw a tantrum when you leave. It's worth it though!!! If you are seeing this on your Google Maps search then you do not need to look any farther. Support a local shop, a local family, and experience a little bit of history too. Just go here.

Don't go here when I'm in town. I don't want to wait for my Banana Tub !!! I have been going to this place since I was 4 or 5. My Mom worked right down the street for a while - and - I would go there every day.I like it so much that when I lived in Juneau, Alaska for a while, a friend packaged me up a Banana Tub, put it on a direct flight and had it delivered to me as a surprise. It was still frozen when I got it. Packed in Dry Ice. I just took my 90+ year old wives parents there last week. Mom had to have what I was going to have. Usually when we travel, I split a banana split with her. This time, she wanted her own. I cannot blame her.So ---- she and I had banana tubs!Of course .. they serve all sorts of things. Food and Ice Cream. But - I'm there for the ice cream.Enjoy and .. save a table for me!

A popular little shop with outdoor seating, reasonable prices, and a small variety of items. I only got a cone that was chocolate dipped. It was pretty good, the ice cream was not too sweet, a little creamy, pretty soft and smooth.

Mr. frosty!!! This place has been around since 1949!! You can’t say there’s anything in Pacific Beach that’s been around that long!!! I’ve been coming here for close to 50 years. The best soft serve / dipped in chocolate..nothing fancy, they have a walk up window to order and some cute picnic benches outside. It’s a small place and if you don’t know where it is, you might miss it. Parking is on the street or in the corner lot. Highly recommend stopping if in the area. So nice to see a business thrive for so many years probably because nothing changed. Still the same great ice cream they served 50 years ago
