Rude service from the staff. We felt unwelcome in the coffeeshop despite having purchased products from them. The policy also meant it was mandatory to buy drinks (which we did) and they wouldn't fill a water bottle. There is a pool table, however it's difficult to play when it's busy. This coffeeshop is larger than others we went to, with canal views.

This place plays good music, however after going there a few days in a row, buying joints/cakes and weed, was abit dissapointed that they expected us to buy drinks. We used there pool table loads (12 x or more when no one else did). We brought our own water/OJ which I appreciate in some way they weren't happy with, however over time we easily spent in excess of €60 in the space of 3 days. So to be told you have to buy a drink, and see people there for hours on end with no drink or sitting on one coffee for 3 hours! Felt it was abit abrupt in my opinion. I think these smoke shops need to allow people to chillout without going in and almost being cornered to buying weed or you can't enter... abit off putting. Seems like alot of these places are like this and i don't remember it being like that 4 years ago when i went. P.s the smoke aint all that, remember it being 10x better back in the day. Big let down. If your not a local... They treat you differently..

This was one of our favourite coffee-shops in Amsterdam. The music was good every time we went, better or worse depending on the staff member. If it's the guy working you'll hear some great hip-hop & reggae music; whilst the lady tends to play drum & base. The guy was great, made some customers keep the noise down as they were messing with the tunes 😂. We loved the decor, there were some nice images/pictures/paintings on the walls, & ceiling, plus the place had a great vibe. The products were good too, sold pretty much what they do everywhere in Amsterdam, but the atmosphere was what really made it great.

One of the best coffeeshops in the Dam to visit with a canal side view that you can enjoy smoking a joint playing chess or the pool table.Then there is the large TV on the wall showing sports, TV and music video channels. Their extensive menu includes great hashes and weeds for reasonable prices. Snacks and prices are fair. Staff are friendly and helpful.Comfortable couches and chairs make it worth staying for a few hours.A local coffeeshop for locals and tourists, worth leaving the tourist trap of the city centre for.

Love sitting in the back here by the big open windows looking over the canals and smoking some gorilla kush... in my eyes most laid back shop to spend some time. Friendly staff to. There product is very underrated. Love getting my og strains here. There is almost always room to sit down here. Lot more locals come here compared to some other shops

I got a gram of Mango Haze and received 17 seeds in an inferior bushy type of weed that cost me 10€ per gram. While initially buying the product i asked the bustender if it is any good which he replied to with yes instead pf telling me. When i went back to confront the budtender, he basically told me that it was my fault because i bought it instead of buying something else.

Smoked one joint and felt really dizzy. Turns out the whole joint was full of tobacco with tiny particles of marijuana. I read that it's popular in Europe to mix the two but when I emptied out one joint there was almost no pot. For 4€ a joint I'm extremely disappointed. The guy who served us was pretty smug; I don't think they like tourists.

Coffeeshop Funky Munkeywe came across this little jem of a coffeeshop in February this year 2017 . delightful and now one of my favorites. has a pool table if you like to play . nice connection of smoke and space cakes and space brownies . and if you don't like stairs the loo is on the same floor so easy.now the smoke I tried Gorilla Kush was nice good and intense high, The smoked Kush which was even better than the gorilla, and 24 caret Gold which was fabulous We also had the space brownie which was yummy.drinks were reasonable the staff were really nice and the place was really clean, very nice coffeeshop 9/10

Extremely poor customer service, the staff were rude and patronising. The woman who served us insisted that everybody in the party purchase a coffee despite everybody in the group having already spent a considerable amount of money on hash and hash cakes. The staff have no concern for tourists, lacked basic manners and do not deserve the custom that they receive.There's a lot of coffee shops in Amsterdam, I wouldn't touch this one again with a barge pole.Steer clear - waste of time.
