This place has some really good flower (on the MED side). I've noticed that over the past year or so, the staff has seemed lack-luster and I only get treated well if a budtender pretends to know me hahaha. Otherwise, this place is pretty rad and has a good energy. Budtender told me that they are extracting now which is sweet! Now all three shops in town are extracting so I will have to test everyone's products side-by-side. Who wants to join the dab party!???

Staff were great in the descriptions of the different product differences. Was more interested in the high CBD very low or no thc products. Got a 2k CBD sublingual I will try later for joint issues. This is a cash only store which lowered its rating. The ATM did not work for me so I borrowed cash from the person I was with. Pricing was reasonable compared to other states, but the cash factor had me buying less ($142 vs $2-300). I decided to try a vape and it was not explained that you do not inhale and "hold it" like you would smoking a cannabis joint so I burnt my throat and top of my lungs and will be discarding a 42 dollar item. There are no returns per shop per the state which I did not know. I guess this could be abused. Instructions should be provided for the vape "inhalation" virgins. Other than that, I should have bought the "cream" for my joints vs trying a vape. I would normally rate this 3 1/2 to 4 due to the issues, but no option for 1/2 ratings. A 5 would have been given had the advertising for the store listed cash only somewhere or the explanation on utilizing the vape would have been given.

Had to drive 45 minutes to get bud which I usually don't mind. When did Golden Leaf turn into Billow with extreme pricing on everything and I have shopped here hundreds of times. I don't believe I will be returning with what was brought home and the price it cost. 1/4 for almost 100 dollars when I used to come and get 4 times the amount for the same price and also who in their right mind would buy a sherlock pipe for 175 dollars when you can get a better product for 25 dollars. This is disgusting. I will be telling everyone I have told to go through GL to no longer shop there. I'm done with overpriced goods.

Horrible dispensary. Neither side offers discounts for veterans. I'm a med patient and have been to plenty of dispensaries. The Med side the girl helping me wasn't helpful at all. I went to the rec side and the girl that helped me was way more helpful. Let me state this again neither side offers a discount for veterans. When I told them I hadn't registered my plants to be grown there were no discounts offered. The plan for when they grow your plants is horrible and would only work if go to that dispensary at least once a month and spent X amount of dollars. Security is non-existent. Neither side has some one check your ID and card. While I was there an underage nonmedical card person went into the medical side. I highly recommend you go else where to get any medication or recreational herb. Only go here if you're willing to pay more, get helped by less then helped people and willing to put up with more then lax security.

I don't know the guy James who posted such a scathing review but in my opinion he has an axe to grind. Most of what he posted I found to be untrue, especially about Security an staff knowledge. Now, my opinion. I thought I got "Bate and Switched" on an item I purchased. In the show case was a clear cube of chiclets (looked to have approx 40 pieces in it). I purchased it with the mindset of splitting it with a friend but once home, I realized that the guy sold me a sealed package of chiclets that had only 10 pieces in it that cost the same $22. Check your items before leaving the store. The salesman was very aware of our plans to split the cube btwn us. Also, I was told that the Gummys were weak. Haven't tried my weed yet but hopefully I won't be disappointed.This was my first visit to any dispensary.

Just got home ..should've read the comments before I came I cnt believe I was shorted and I know for a fact I have 2 different strains in my container ...I'll just stick with silt co dispensaries I cnt believe I drove that far to get ripped off..an it's a waste of time to even talk to anybody bout getting ripped off in that store ....get new employees or sumthin God I'm so pissed..but the weed is good I guess just gunna smoke an pass out.😐

Golden leaf has been my go too dispo since I moved to steamboat a few years ago....always a good visit great people great environment...I visited the store on June 22nd and got an 1/8 of Angeles OG one of my favorites....it was pre packaged which is OK....I'm just very disappointed because I found 12 SEEDS in the 1/8 bus I got ore packaged....

Coming from the cannabis industry in Washington, this was my first experience in a store in Colorado and they have absolutely amazing products, with a wide variety of products and prices with even the lower priced items (the concentrates specifically) still looking beautiful and well purged. In our few times in the store, each person we worked with was friendly and knowledgeable. They also all had great options to bring to the table. Overall, so happy with Golden Leaf..I highly encourage everyone to check them out!!

Used to be quite the pothead and stopped altogether about 3 years ago. Went with a buddy who smokes today and we were blown away. Unbelievable knowledge without being snobby, wonderful customer service, and patient with our questions and inquires. If you're looking to check out some dispensaries while you're in Steam Boat, I HIGHLY recommend this place.

Hands down the best dispense in Colorado. The staff in there make you feel so comfortable and are so welcoming from the minute you walk in until the min you are leaving. Very informative and knowledable bud tenders. I have drove back to steamboat two times now and plan on many more trips to come even though it's a 3 1/2 hr trip the drive is well worth it!.! ✌
