This place is awesome. It's a tad pricier than other dispensaries but is so close to my home it's worth it. Super nice team, courteous, and helpful. I was sincerely desperate for something other than pain meds for my chronic pain issues. I've tried just about any edible I could find because I can't smoke where I'm renting. I finally have a good regimen going and it's changing my life.

Going camping for the weekend? Live in the northern sacramento area? Then get your med card (because the county is medical only) and head over to the quaint and welcoming dispensary, Golden State Patient Care. All that you need, in a one stop cannabis shop! Vapes, flower, concentrates that always make my mouth water, edibles, and topicals! They truly listen to what it is their customers want to see in the store, and they only keep products that are tried and true by customers and employees alike! I love spending time here and hanging out with the local friendly staff! Plus, right next door is an herbal remedy shop for all of your natural remedy needs. A family owned place, that treats everyone just like that, family! As a brand ambassador for Heavy Hitters, I have had the pleasure of visiting GSPC multiple times, and every time I am there I have a great time talking, hanging out, and teaching customers about our product! They are compassionate, knowledgeable, and just great people! Worth a stop if you’re driving by, in the area, or if you would like to be a patron to a great small dispensary in Colfax!

Way over priced.No selection.12$ for a preroll that only contains leaf and no actual bud.Better off making the trip to sac or reno to get cheaper, higher quality products.

The staff at the reception area were friendly and patient. The product tenders knew about their product and never made me feel rushed. They also helped me to get the most for my money. I was also impressed with how they treated their elderly patients. So many dispensaries are rude and dismissive. This dispensary could show the big city stores a few things The best part? EXCELLENT product, best I've had in over 12 years as a cannabis patient. top notch!

If you don't mind the price of your medicine going up 3 days after the last time you came in its not bad. Went in and bought some terpboys sauce and it was 50 bucks went back 3 days later and it was 70 if you look up that suace at any other dispensary its 50. I was okay with spending a little more because it is closer but that is pure greed and is not what be a medicinal dispensary is supposed to be about. We will not be back
