I really enjoy this spot. Drunken noodles are dynamite - fun fact, not as good when you take them to go, fresh FTW.My cocktail (Negroni) was a bit overcome by the huge ice cube lol.But almost each dish we have had here has been very flavorful with good quality ingredients. It is our go to in the neighborhood for Thai for sure!

If you want a real setting, if your looking for a family feel when you want a beer or glass of wine after a long day at work alone, come here ONE time. You will become a regular💯...money wont matter, and you can leave ypur phone in your pocket. You will find the best sports on the screen, and CONVERSATION from the owner down. If you want to pick up food for your family you can do that too, but you will be back to be here, just to keep your mind right💯. Im gonna leave this for the google world, here In California, you can find places by the ocean, you can find scenery, but when you want FRESH food and a fresh setting, this is the place to be. This place shows it was built on the American dream work ethic, and dedication to EACH customer. Its real. Im a guy who just randomly came in one night and now go out of my way to come here as often as I can. See Wes MWFS for genuine service, and see Kaene, he makes you feel so welcome, if you missed him, then you missed out💯👌

Thai Juan On has the most amazing food in the entire state of California! Though I have tried a lot of Thai restaurants, I literally can’t bring myself to try another one after having found this place! Their dishes are each unique in their own way and just about everything I’ve had has been amazing! A couple of my favorites which I highly recommend are Crying Tiger and Golden Thread. If you follow my advice and try this place you won’t go to another Thai restaurant after!

Decided to try a new restaurant. Upon entering we were greeted but had to wait for a few tables to be cleared. After about 5 minutes we got seated by the host. We waited for about 15 minutes and were greeted by our waitress. She wanted to know what we wanted to drink, and then we placed our order at the same time. We ordered Pad See Eww (not sure of spelling) along with a chicken fried rice dish which we asked if they could add fresh pineapple. We must have waited at least 15 more minutes as we getting impatient for our drinks. No water was brought to us while waiting. The people who sat behind us had issues with their food order. The family that sat across from us kept waiting and waiting for someone to take their order too and they sat down way after we did. Yet, all the while this is going on, we noticed two male workers who were just passing time talking with other patrons oblivious. Our drinks *finally* arrived. Then we waited for our two dishes. Woo hoo they arrived and were nice sized portions. On the table your dinner plate is that of a bread plate. So, we served ourselves and realized they never brought the chili pepper/vinegar/dried chili condiments. So, we try to find our waitress, but got another worker there. We are brought a small saucer of red chili paste. Not exactly what we wanted, but okay. We both found the noodles bland and the chicken had zero flavor. The rice was good, it was fluffy, but again - not enough flavor. They also used bland canned pineapple chucks l - we asked for fresh as the dish was a special order. For Thai food you want flavor! Spices, citrus, heat, sweetness...our food had none of that. The Chang bottled beer was good. The wine my partner had was good. The check was dropped off and we asked for to-go boxes. We were brought them. The people behind us had still not been served their food and the family across from our table - half had been served and were eating and the other half still waiting for their food. We paid our bill and left. One hour and 40 minutes later. Don't think we will be back to Thai Juan On.

The best authentic Thai food ever and the best staff and bar tenders! One side is a full restaurant and the other side is your favorite "Cheers" bar :) Everything I've tried on the menu has been delicious. Prices are reasonable and definitely stop in on Thirsty Thursday for half price appetizers and ribs that melt in your mouth! Say hello to Keene!

Food was good. Had the chicken curry. We also had a variety of appetizers. Only problem we had was that they told us it was happy hour, but then charged us full price. They said happy hour was only if you were in the bar. So why would they tell us about it when we were sitting at a table already. After fighting with them, they did adjust the price.

If you want excellent Thai food or just a place to hang out at the bar and call your own, come to Thai Juan On. It is a family and fun atmosphere. Keane is an excellent bartender, he'll introduce you to some crazy new drinks if you ask. I've been coming here and to their sister restaurant in Dana Point, Thai This, for years.Excellent food!
