We had a pleasant experience until... The guy said they accepted debit cards, he scanned our card twice then said it didn't go through, no problem. We didn't think anything of it till we checked our bank balance 2 days later, and noticed our account had a thousand + $$s missing! $600 cash sent to Berlin+ the Visa charge to handle the transaction, $590 in NY, $250 in CA plus several TST minor charges. Really? He scanned our card to scam us!?! We reported to the police, our bank filled out the 6 page bank fraud paperwork & we should get our money back in 14 business days. We've been contacted by green grass. They've reviewed tapes of our visit & more importantly, their employee. So lesson here is, be aware of your surroundings always. These guys are ok. Glad they followed up with us.

My boyfriend and I visited Colorado for a week. This was the first dispensary we visited and we were both pleasantly surprised. The rad dude with the blue hair didn't mind all of our questions and helped us pick out what we wanted. It was a fantastic experience and we both can't wait to visit ya'll again when we move out to the area in May!

On my Colorado Tour that I took for 2 months last year in the summer, I decided to check out the gambling cities and casinos in both Black Hawk and Central City, Colorado. two really historic township-cities west of Denver in the mountains. About 45 minutes to an hour drive from Denver Center. I was pleasantly surprised when I visited the Green Grass Dispensary in Central City my first time, and 2-3ore times following that week.It is a smaller shop, but still carries tons of products to use. The quality of the inside and the neat structured orginization makes it easy to read, navigate, and explore various types of flower/bud and other products. The lady who was there was such a sweetheart too. She was kind, humorous, and had a charming smile that attracts not just me to shop, but others who visit or live around the area in the homes too. She gave me a great discount of 15% for my first purchase and being a new customer. She also provided me with some maps to the mountain trails around so I could go hike with my family/friends, or just go and enjoy my Higher Learning with nature by myself and relax. The atmosphere is peaceful and super relaxed inside. prices are about average, but well worth the deal if you win some cash at the casinos, or just need to get that pick me up Gram or pre-roll. Green Grass of Central City is the only dispensary of the 3 or 4 dispensaries in the same area up the road that earns my personal Blue Ribbon of Dispensary Excellence for Customer Satisfaction. I will be back up in the mountains to visit this shop again, and if it's not too far out of the way, or you have the free time, drive on up to Central City and be blown away by history, and a good few puffs to bring the luck on for the casinos(Photos below are from Leafly and provide the map, hours, phone, contact email, and current deals. I haven't been to a dispensary this good in a long while. It's very apparent how much care goes into their plants. The store is wonderfully arranged and very inviting; dare I say 'homey.' The flower is amazing quality for the price! Surprised to see beautiful Grape Ape and Green Crack available. Very happy to have stopped by Green Grass! Will definitely be stopping by EVERY time we come up to Blackhawk/Central City to gamble.

I walked in and was greeted immediately by big smile and a welcoming demeanor and a friendly staff they helped me find exactly what i was looking for offering suggestions for selling products and house favorites. I was surprised on how knowledgeable the staff was, it felt like everyone was my friend. I will definitely be returning and not just for the produce but for the smiles and laughs.

Place used to be awesome, used to have phenomenal Lucky Charms. Went there today on my way fishing to see if it was in. (It's been about 8mo since I last shopped here). I was delighted that it was. I also picked up some green c××× and some luck dragon. The gc fizzles when lit and tasted like nuits. The charms were both hay tasting and brought me back to the old bc bud days lolol. I used to enjoy shopping there the bud tender seemed like he knew what he was talking about..... nice friendly dude, just a bad product. It not like I can take it back lolol expensive lesson learned I rekon. Sorry to leave a bad review, but it is what it is

I lived in Black Hawk for a little while and stumbled upon this awesome gem. I don't partake regularly by any means. The first time I walked in the door I was greeted with a huge smile and a super friendly tone. I felt comfortable even though I had no idea what I was looking at. All of my questions were answered with kindness and detail. I have a severe case of rheumatoid arthritis and fibromialga. The only thing that seems to help is candy. (As I do not like the effects of smoke AT ALL) They have a huge selection to choose from and are always getting new kinds in. I no longer live in Black Hawk, or CO for that matter. When I come to visit family over holidays, I make it a point to make a special trip up to Green Grass to visit and get a few things to help my pain levels while I'm there. (Cause you can't take it out of the state) Never in a million years did I think I would be using THC.. Or going into shops like this. I am so thankful for the owner and the staff for being so kind and helpful. Also, they offer a military discount!

BEST DISPENSARY IN CO!!! I'm from Iowa and I make it out to CO every few months. I always make it to at least a few dispensaries while I'm there and this is the only one that keeps me coming back. It's in one of the coolest little towns just outside Denver and they have an awesome selection of amazing bud, and at really great prices. I'm not much into edibles myself, but they have a good selection and all of the prices that I saw were even cheaper than the Denver shops. The two guys I've dealt with on the weekends are always super friendly and informative. I'll be seeing you guys again soon!
