After English Garden failed me, I remembered their commercials and decided to come here. While it is much smaller than the green houses south of Metro Detroit, I still found everything I wanted in the colors I wanted. I was even able to quickly able to help and answers to my questions. I even found bamboo wind chimes with is getting to be the unicorn search of the wind chimes world. I will remember this place to come next spring.

This is a quaint greenhouse where they seem to specialize in kindness and knowledge. Although we were a little later than usual in getting our plants, the ones we went for were gone, but they recommended something else that was exactly what we were looking for. Every time we go here, we are greeted and asked if there is anything they can do to help us find something. Some of the employees even just said hello. I recommend going here and checking it out. You won't be disappointed. 😊

This was a great find for me, being a plant geek. Lots of varieties of plants. Lots of friendly and helpful staff. A rather homey feel, leading one to believe there are exciting discoveries down every aisle. While not every plant was perfect, you could tell that they really care and hey, it was memorial day weekend so you gotta give them some slack.

My wife and I went to Eckerts May 30, 2020, yesterday. It was our first visit. The dirt parking lot was pretty chaotic. In contrast, the rest of the visit was great. They had good, reasonably priced product. The staff appeared to to everywhere, helpful, and friendly. As their website states, the store is practicing safety measures limiting numbers in the enclosed areas and apparently expecting people to wear masks. The shoppers in late morning were seniors, like myself. I believe the only couple I saw without a mask whom arrived at the same time we did, left without shopping. This is definately a well thought out set up. Very impressed.

Quite disappointed in my order. Specifically requested pink and white petunias in a 10 inch hanging pot. Pots are all pink with two white plants stuck in that had not bloomed. 20$ per pot, and flowers are small petunias. Went out to Altermatts at 25 and Romeo Plank and got a white petunia, 3 times the size in circumference for 17$.

I buy a lot of annuals here and some vegetable plants. Hanging baskets are beautiful every year. They also have a nice selection of perennials. You can buy fertilizers (including Espoma organic), potting soil and a few other items in the bagged goods line which is convenient. Staff is always friendly and helpful. I prefer to support local businesses instead of huge corprations. It keeps money circulating in the local economy.
