I've been really going back and forth about whether or not to write something. I should start off by saying that the majority of my visits to Greenway have been very positive experiences. On most every occasion, they greet you with a smile, tons of knowledge, and just as much enthusiasm to make for a wonderful shopping experience. The products are superior to most anything you can find out there, and that atmosphere is cool. It's a pain to get to, but the overall experience makes it worth it. During one of my visits months ago, I felt rushed by one of the bud tenders. I figured she was just having a bad day, and didn't say anything. I decided that Greenway was still worth my business. Well, recently I went into the shop and was recommended a type of oil by one of the bud tenders. She was enthusiastic, and really wanted my feedback on the product. So when I returned the next time, I told her that I wasn't impressed with the product, and why. She proceeded to get defensive with me about it. She said that she really liked it, and the people she knew really liked it, and was I using a low enough temperature, etc? I explained to her that yes, I was using low heat, and it still tasted awful to me. I wasn't looking to get anything out of it, but I also wasn't looking for an argument over feedback she had requested of me in the first place! How hard would it have been to just thank me for the feedback? So I decided to talk to someone who worked there during my following visit. Explained what happened and that I was really considering taking my business elsewhere.Turns out, the person I spoke to about it is friends with her, so my complaint was pretty much blown off. All I got was "Oh, she can be that way. Don't stop coming here. We all like you." It was very insincere. I don't go to stores for drama. I have enough of that in my life. I truly hope that someone reads this, and maybe that bud tender can work on her people skills. I get having a bad day, but it's never acceptable to take it out on people who are there to give you business. And I gave you a lot of business.
