The worst day in at least a decade was made a little bit easier by this place. It started when I found my spoiled rotten parrot, Boo, had died during the night. I thought I'd pulled myself together, b... more

editing my review from 1 star to 4 stars. it would have been 5 if I didn't deal with such a hassle to get my girls back. they did take care of me afterwards, but the hassle was hard. the owner, ellie and amy are very nice! they actually care. Sarah works there for her paycheck- she doesn't care about you or your dogs. I would have had my girls back awhile ago with no hassle if it wasn't for her. If she answers your call, ask for Amy instead!! thank you ellie.

When my mom and I were forced to put to rest our 14 year old chihuahua on April 3rd we were conflicted in choosing the right people who shared our sentiment for compassion and respect to our loving family member. Initially, certain reviews for Rainbow to Heaven had become a turnoff leading us to search out other companies. Following several phones call and many assurances we allowed Rainbow to Heaven to prove themselves to the contrary of some reviews. Thanks to the amazing staff, owners, and Dr. Chan our pretty girl was allowed to get the much needed rest she deserved. Rainbow to heaven more than proved themselves to be the compassionate company they claim to be. We'll forever be grateful for the way they went about caring for our dog, from beginning to end.

I had the hardest decision of my life to let my baby girl Mia cross over the rainbow bridge. I wanted to be with her when she crossed. My daughter called Rainbow to Heaven. I was a little skeptical because of some of the reviews. I am so glad that I went with them. All the staff was wonderful and considerate of my feelings at this awful time. They went above and beyond to care for my baby girl Mia. She crossed over on Friday and brought her home by Monday in her beautiful lil house. Thank You from the bottom of my heart ❤️ for such a beautiful job

Now that I have had time to grieve for the loss of my best friend, I wanted to come and give them a review that they deserve. My little 27 year old female tuxedo cat Ivy was my best friend. She had been declining in health for a few days and stopped eating. I called Rainbow to Heaven knowing the inevitable was coming. I was able to prepay for my kitty and choose her urn and the great customer service staff made this experience hassle-free. On March 30th I took my cat to the vet to see if there was something I could do for her and I was fearful she was in pain even though she had no symptoms. Sadly, the veterinarian stated that my cat had a large golf ball size tumor in her abdomen that she could feel. I knew at that time this is why she stopped eating and she was going to pass in pain if I didn't have her put to sleep. This was one of the toughest decisions I have ever had to make knowing I would never see her again. I stayed with her and kissed her and let her know I loved her but I couldn't be there to watch this happen. I called Rainbow to Heaven in tears and emotionally broken to let them know that she was going to be at the vets office and due to the hours they would need to pick her up the following day. The staff is the best so caring, understanding and supportive. I am crying while I write this but everyday it gets a little easier. I received my kitty on April 8th in her little yellow house urn. I highly recommend their services and even my mother will be calling to make arrangements for her fur baby too. Thank You Rainbow to Heaven for taking such good care of her after her passing.

My sweet love Rona passed on April 7th 2020. The hardest thing I've ever went thru emotionally. She passed at 4:45am. I contacted Rainbow to Heaven and spoke with a woman named Barbera. Incredibly nice and extremely professional. I cant say enough good things about what she did for me. So kind and empathetic almost like she felt my pain. I trust my little Rona in your hands. I HIGHLY recommend Rainbow to Heaven to those in need of such a service. I hope the best for all those whom have lost a beloved pet. Barbra, again thank you for your kindness and understanding. I appreciate you more than you know.

I lost my beloved child on March 7, 2020, and wasn't able to be with him and my family during his last hours (I was out of state). From what my family said, Zoe was so kind and compassionate over the phone that awful night, as well as the gentleman who picked up my precious dog. My family said he was handled and transported with care and dignity. After I landed two days after his death, I texted Ellie to see if I could see his remains before he got cremated. Ellie was so responsive, and checked if he had been transported to the crematory already. It turns out he was already transported, but she gave me the option of arranging a private cremation service. Of course it was an extra cost, but to me it was worth it. His private cremation service was held with their affiliates at Precious Pets Memorial Service in Ventura (whom I also HIGHLY recommend). Looking back, I really needed that private viewing: to see him, pet him, and talk to him one last time, and to see his remains go, to accept that he is gone from this world. It gave me much relief to take his ashes home that same day. He's now in our home with a cute house as his final resting place. All in all, I felt like my dog got a proper send-off and left this world with dignity. He got a private cremation service a human would get. Thank you Ellie, for being so responsive via text that day amidst my grief, and especially for arranging that private cremation service for my child. I will never forget this. You helped make this extremely difficult time in my family and I's lives bearable. On a side note, on the drive back from his cremation service, several rainbows appeared. I'd like to think of it as my dog saying he's ok, and that he made it to Heaven. :)

They picked up my dog for cremation on feb 29th, it is now march 30th and i still havent gotten an answer from them on when i ll be getting his ashes back. Initially they promised 7-10days, then it became 7-10 working days, now i m just getting tossed around for answers when i call. I understand that LA is under shutdown but they had enough time before the shutdown, now just some answer to give me some peace. I hope they didnt lose my buddies ashes or give me someones else to quiet me up.

My dog, Penelope, passed away on the 27th of January 2020 at 1:30am and was picked up at 6am that morning. It has been seven weeks since she was taken to get cremated and we have not received anything or gotten any kind of follow up regarding the delivery of her urn and ashes. The email they have on their website does not work and when I call I get redirected and I’m told the same thing and that is that they are on a cycle and do deliveries all at oncetowards the end of the month. It’s almost 2 months since my dog passed away, come one now!
