Finally found a non-corporate minded grow that is mom and pop(literally, the two do it all themselves right now I'm told, an I'm not against stores with employees, just happy it's not so corporate feeling, and sadly, admittedly, ((since I'm from the industry and head the union for it))relieved I don't have to stress about whether they're treating their workers right or not, impressive) and the result is amazing. I held off writing the review right away, as the service was out of this world, but wanted a day to sample the TEN different strains I got in my visit before giving the full review.. =p .So here goes: Coming in wasn't that cold kinda "just come in and buy" type deal. Super friendly, super helpful, KNOWLEDGEABLE. It ACTUALLY felt like I was talking to someone else who ALSO loved cannabis and was doing what they do to help the community. Not just sweep in like lots of these other places with their rich capitalist trust fund baby and co. owners well prices are high in the area, cash in and then cash out and follow the money, screwing the workers and the community, an this ma an pa shop may not have workers yet, (story for another time, cross that bridge when we get to it. hah, hope when they DO get workers they treat them right I.E. Cannabis Union and open finances an such. They seem like great people, so I'm sure they will take the right road on that when their business gets to that point, anyway, enough with the politics of cannabis, back to reviewin', both sides of the coin are just important to me =p) .Whole thing Just felt right. Like how it should be. Friendly. No weird bs rules. No some poor employee getting paid 12$/hr w/ no rights having to lie to you about quality or something else to try to trick you into buying even tho you're standing right there. No saying, "poor people get bottom shelf, rich people get top self" heartless, capitalists, poor people hating, scum, non sense(ops, politics!lolz)Just all top self for all.No pesticides besides a classic lemon oil mix(sorry Freddie, hope this isn't a secret I'm giving away here, think you said it's ok to share? XD), uses old, well tested nuts, and not to many either. You can tell the love is in the buds. They aren't like artificial tomatoes type, an also Deff not swag. Just perfect natural good bud structure, and the phenos. OH MAN, THE PHENOS. I was blown away. SO unique. And the uniqueness reflects in the taste and effect to.Just blown away by everything I've tried so far(enough to give me confidence to write a 5 star review) the Candy Kush there for sleeping was perfect, followed Fred's wise suggestion of using the El Jefe as I was winding down in the evening, lil black katy after that to really get that end sleeping effect from the jefe boosted and stretched, an a lil of that candy kush at the very end for a nice strong, but easy and super smooth, mellow sleep. Effect EXACTLY as described, perfect.(Knowledge is power peoples, lol). The Durban poison, an roughneck have been GREAT so far. I'm legitimately excited to get to try the rest, like a kid opening presents hah. Getting amazing energy and focus and getting a ton done! An at a very fair price to boot, just can't beat it. Right now they have 90$ ounces OTD for 1st timers or members, 325$ oz of wax and shatter, and their concentrate, looks BEYOND amazing.(All Competitive with the big soulless guys in town too, hope they can maintain that deal and fairness and that the word about this sweet lil spot gets out!)I signed my plant count mid-first visit I was just so blown away, and continue to be, every-time I sample some of this flower ;p, deff. plan to stay. Fun lil bonuses for signing to, despite the already fair deals. In 6months I can get a sweet lookin' hoodie too. @.@ This is my new shop =) Excited to give their concentrates a try too, as they looked like gorgeous pieces of artisan stained glass just waiting to be re melted in the forges of my lungs.(THE PHENOOOOS XP) Time to drop those big corp. stores your going to my fellow 99%ers, cannabis enthusiasts, an deal hunters. This is the place to go!
