Foods great, 1 Star well we have come in several time only to watch older employees abuses verbally delivery food drivers. Abuse customers so I choose to no longer spend my money here. Life is to short to support mean at heart employees, if the owners and management are choosing to keep a blind eye to verbal abuse then they will continue to loose customers.

In A Nutshell:-High Five Pizza is a South San Jose pizza legend.-This restaurant has a proud history of serving the local community w/ some of the best pizza you will find.-I remember coming here back in the 90's when I was playing Little League baseball & celebrating our seasons while eating delicious pizza.-The good news is the food still taste great.Overall, if are in the mood for pizza w/ tons of toppings & great taste, come eat here & you'll be high-five'ing everyone out the door! Just make sure you wash your hands.

Definitely a High five:A friend of mine told me about this place so I figured I’d give er a try. As I walked up I noted that they have outside table seating in a shaded patio like setting and a tv to watch sports. As I walked inside I noted so many TVs I honestly couldn’t count them all. I counted up to 15 but was not sure that was the actual tally. They have a bar on the right with bar stools, order area is off to the right next to the kitchen. They also have a salad bar (center back are) They have sports memorabilia hanging all over the place with lots of cool jerseys, pinball in the back next to the rest rooms and the rest rooms have speakers in them so you can listen to games. The table I sat at had bench seating “seat was torn” really should be reupholstered as a place is very nice inside.The service, while not outstanding was still good B+ Now for the best part, the food:My friend ordered a Tri tip sandwich with fries and a side of mozzarella sticks. He was gracious enough to let me try everything. Mozzarella sticks: cooked to perfection, flavor and consistency was on par with what you’d expect from the mozzarella stick. 3.5 starsTri tip: the bread is soft, the meat is tender and had good flavor. That Au Jus sauce cut the dryness of the sandwich. Overall flavor was good but on the dry side. 3.5 starsFrench fries: these really surprise me they were cooked to perfection light and airy and crispy and the flavor was amazing, probably the best price I’ve ever had 5 stars plus plus plus.Now for da Pizza: I ordered an xtra large All American and substituted the red sauce for the white sauce and added pineapple $39. The pie has a extremely delicious thin crust. Normally I don’t eat the pizza bones but on this pie I didn’t even notice that it had em the crust was that good, with melted cheese and toppings going right to the edge. The pineapple, linguiça, salami, olives, peppers, onions and everything on this pizza was top-quality, right up there with the best I’ve ever had, actually I think this might be the best I’ve ever had, dare I say it taste better than it looks? let me tell you folks this pizza looks amazing and it does taste better than it looks 5 stars +++ Overall High Five is a great place with some darn good food. I stopped short of 5 stars overall because of the torn bench seat and the Tri tip was slightly dry. That being said I Definitely recommend High Five and I most definitely will be back

This place is always packed and for many reasons! I'm not sure if it's the ingredients or the recipes but all the pizzas here are amazing. Combine the incredible pizza with the fries and you are in heaven. The food at this place makes me recommend it but it's their great service that keeps me loyal. If you haven't been here you have to come at least once!!!

The pizza is probably the best I have had in the bay area. I haven't had such an amazing crust anywhere else here: crispy bottom, a bit flaky, with the toppings well-spaced around the edge. Generous and high quality toppings. I also really like their sandwiches. I ordered the "Slam Dunk": just the right amount of juicy tri-tip and melted mozzarella on toasted french bread, with au jus. The servers were helpful and friendly, and the eating area was kept clean. A great place to come to watch the game, too.

Enjoy meats on my pizza but I don't like greasy food. The problem is cooked meats always creates greasy pizza. Ordered a XL "All American" which has six meats and five vegetables. It came to our table fully loaded and somehow wasn't greasy. The crust was crisp and crunchy. Somehow High Five Pizza has found a way to defy the laws of pizza physics, it was delicious.

It's always great to eat here. Pizza is good, any kind. You should try, though, the sandwiches. I love the classic!!! It's great for hanging out with friends or family. Especially if you like football. They have many TVs tuned into the games on Sunday!So, yes. A must go!

I have been going here for 26 years. The pizza is very good and a great assortment of appetizers. The Wednesday night BBQ is always crazy busy. I wish they had a vegetarian option for BBQ night. The bar has a great selection and they do have a pinball game! I wish they could expand. Parking can be rough too, especially when the studio next door is open.

Update: I'm here at least once a month. Sometimes it's every week. I love this place. It's not my favorite type of pizza (I prefer Neapolitan style margherita), but they do American pizza well and consistently. Beer and people here are great. Seems like they parboil then fry their fries; perfect. I still haven't had the BBQ. If I had to complain about something, I wish they'd carry another or a rotating IPA in place of Elysium Space Dust.Pizza was good. Beer was good with some craft options. Cool local sports memorabilia. Place and people were chill. Many TVs to watch the games. It's one of the few pizza places nearby where I would stay and hang out with some more beers. I haven't had anything but the pizza, but I believe they have a BBQ day.
